Mark Cavendish,stravince il Campionato del Mondo di ciclismo...
Nello sprint di Copenhagen, il velocista dell'Isola di Man , batte Goss (Australia) e Greipel (Germania). Cancellara è quarto,  Boasson Hagen ottavo,  Freire nono, Sagan 12esimo,  Bennati  ( primo italiano)....solo 14esimo...

Una fuga subito dopo il via raggiunge i 7'di vantaggio....Altre fughe si vedranno ma con scarso risultato...grazie a un ottimo lavoro svolto dal Team Britannico!!!!!!

Nel frattempo diversi corridori, tra cui l'ex campione del mondo di Thor HushovdFranck Schleck e il tedesco Tony Martin, sono stati rallentati da una caduta....resteranno tagliati fuori mentre Schleck si ritirera'.

L’Italia di Bettini non ha raccolto nulla......
Sapevamo che in gruppo c’erano velocisti più forti del nostro Bennati, e il percorso non offriva alcuna possibilità per sorprendere gli avversari o inventare qualche azione interessante.
Gli azzurri non hanno sbagliato nulla e nel finale, quando bisognava organizzare la volata, hanno mostrato un po’ di timidezza.....
