Si va ai supplementari dove entrambe le squadre cercano di chiudere il match, i sudamericano vivono di una giornata storta della loro stella Nico Lopez e non riescono ad imporsi, mentre nell’Iraq è impossibile non notare il carisma del portiere H.Mohammed, non solo per la vistosa fasciatura, ma per un atteggiamento in campo da vera star.
Si va quindi ai calci di rigori dove dopo una lunga serie prevale l’Uruguay che raggiunge una inaspettata finale, mentre l’Iraq resta comunque una grande favola di questa rassegna, arrivato con assoluto merito fra le prime quattro del mondo.
