The Arms of Tripoli are a band from Los Angeles that makes you dream with their Dream in Tongues, an album entirely instrumental, communicative, rich, intelligent, sentimental.
Shoegaze who dreams himself, who have so much to say but does not even say a word.
Because the album is all instrumental and this is the only flaw. We still need to hear the words for feel us closer each other, especially when we listen to the shoegaze, a genre that always remains a monument to loneliness.

Erano vicini alla perfezione. Riverberi, ritmi vari e colorati, vita, luce, shoegaze, strumenti accarezzati più che suonati, e arrangimenti professionali. Gli Arms of Tripoli sono una band di Los Angeles che fa sognare con il loro Dream in Tongues, un album interamente strumentale, comunicativo, ricco, intelligente, sentimentale.
Shoegaze che sogna se stesso, che ha tante cose da dire eppure nemmeno una parola.
Perchè l’ album è tutto strumentale e questa è l’unica pecca.. Ci servono ancora le parole per sentirci meno distanti, soprattutto quando si suona lo shoegaze, genere che rimane sempre e comunque monumento alla solitudine.
