Party ritorno agli anni ’80 * Back to the 80’s party

Girls just wanna have fun, si sa, e quando ci si divertiva sul serio? Negli anni ’80!  Girls just wanna have fun, you know, and when we had fun seriously? In the ’80s!

Ricordo, per quanto fossi davvero una bebè, i party che organizzavano i miei genitori in quegli anni: bellissimi! Ogni occasione era buona per far festa: compleanni, carnevale, l’estate, la primavera, i colori… Se ripenso agli anni ’80 mi pare siano stati un lungo, divertentissimo e colorato party!  I can remember, when I was really a baby, partyes my parents organized in those shining years: beautiful! Every opportunity was good for them to celebrate: birthdays, carnival, summer, spring, colors … If I look back I can recall the ‘80 as a longlasting, funny, shiny party!

Pochi giorni fa  il mio amatissimo cognato ha compiuto 40 anni: è l’uomo più anni ’80 che conosca, dall’abbigliamento ai gusti musicali, senza dimenticare quelli culinari. Per lui un pranzo perfetto inizia con il manzo affumicato con la rucola, continua con un primo alla panna, filetto alla panna e pepe verde e termina con la panna cotta (a proposito se ti interessa la mia ricetta la trovi qui!) . A few days ago my beloved brother turned 40: he’s a perfect ‘80 guy, from clothing to musical tastes, not to mention those culinary. For him, a perfect lunch starts with smoked beef with arugula, continues with a pasta  cream dipped (or drowned, you may say), fillet in cream sauce with green pepper and ends with the panna cotta (here you can find my recipe): a typical 80’s italian menu!
Quindi l’occasione era davvero perfetta per organizzare un party anni ’80 e festeggiare il suo compleanno!  e quindi BACK TO THE 80’s!! So the opportunity was really perfect for organizing a party ‘80s themed  and celebrate his birthday! sooo, back to the 80’s!
Colori fluo, pac – man e fantasmini, locandine di film e copertine di hit di quegli anni sono stati alla base delle decorazioni che ho preparato.  Fluorescent colors, pac – man and ghosts, movie posters and covers of hits from those years have been at the base of the decorations that I have prepared.
Il menù del buffet è stato temporalmente trasversale: dai mitici panozzi, pop corn e voul au vent (fonduta e  pomodori secchi ricotta e maggiorana)  alla cucina fusion con insalata di riso venere con gamberi, piselli e scorza di lime, sushi preparato da me. The menu of the buffet was a temporal mix: from the mythical hamburger, popcorn and voul au vent (fondue cheese and sun-dried tomatoes and marjoram) to fusion cuisine with black rice salad with shrimp, peas and lime zest and  sushi prepared by me.
L’angolo dolci è stato un vero successo. Ho preparato un crepes corner: le crepes già pronte potevano essere riscaldate e farcite dagli ospiti come meglio credevano con Nutella, panna montata, miele, granella di nocciole, marmellata e codetta di zucchero colorata. The sweet corner was a real success. I prepared a crepes corner: crepes ready could be heated and stuffed by guests as they pleased with Nutella, whipped cream, honey, hazelnuts, jam and tang of colored sugar.
L’altra hit che ha entusiasmato i piccoli presenti alla festa è stata la macchina per fare lo zucchero filato. The other hit that wowed kids at the party was the cotton candy machine.
Avevo poi preparato un selfie corner, apprezzatissimo dai miei ospiti: una cornice formato polaroid per scattare tante foto a tema. I prepared a selfie corner, much appreciated by my guests: a frame format Polaroid to take many photos ‘80s themed.
Ai miei amici avevo chiesto di partecipare abbigliati in tema anni ’80: tutti hanno accettato, davvero sono stati fantastici nel trovare l’abbigliamento adatto ed è stato buffissimo! I asked to my friends to attend the party  dressed in ‘80s theme: they all agreed and it was very funny!
Come party favor ho preparato delle bustine a tema Pac-man con tanti smarties colorati.   I prepared Pac man themed  party favors with Smarties inside.

Insomma una festa perfetta!  In short, a perfect party!
