Then she called for testers for a really nice blouse/shirt pattern,

I was nearly drooling when I've seen it, so I signed for being choosed... and it happened, really! I as so happy because she's so nice as a person (look what she has done during her vacation), and she's a really good patternmaker too, so I wanted to be a tester for her, I was sure I could learn something from this occasion!I decided to start with choosing a shirt to refashion for this pattern testing and this sleeveless one from my mother closet was exactly what I was trying to find.
It's a lightweight cotton and matches perfectly with a scrap of vintage flowery polyester, a crocheted trim that an old aunt did a lot of time ago and some scrap from an old gingham shirt of mine...
oops! a button is escaping from his loop ;)
I had to change a little the back, adding a central seam and three arrow-shaped topstitches, to mask the old darts:
this is what I like from re-fashions: never one like the other ;)
It fits my LilPotato like a glove (well, maybe too much like a glove: I've made a 4yo size, the only problem I found is that it's a little hard to pull on and off, my daughter can't do that all alone, and lately anything that she can't do all alone is a problem!).
I think I will make at least one more, maybe with cording, as Marte suggested! I've seen a lot of other tests for this blouse and they're all inspiring: I can't wait for this pattern to be released (Marte said October... sounds so much colder than now!!!) to see a roundup of every single version!
I love being a pattern tester and LilPotato loved this blouse, that this summer is one or her favs!

Mai uno uguale all'altro ;)
