Review ELF Translucent Matte Powder

Prima di comprare questa cipria compatta avevo letto alcune recensioni positive. Devo dire che in effetti le confermo quanto avevo letto, anche se il mio utilizzo si limita solamente ai ritocchi fuori casa.
Preferisco le polveri minerali ma questa sicuramente è comoda e fa il suo dovere. Opacizza ed uniforma.

Rendi la tua pelle ancora più liscia e perfetta, senza l’effetto lucido. Questa cipria trasparente è ideale per diversi tipi di pelle, per fissare meglio il trucco e permettere una tenuta più lunga. La formula setosa e leggera opacizza la pella in maniera sorprendente, diminuendo così l’effetto lucido e unto, per un look sano e naturale.
La consistenza è un po' polverosa e non è proprio incolore. Credo che su una pelle media o abbronzata sarebbe un po' troppo chiara... Ma correggetemi se sbaglio. Non amo molto abbronzarmi quindi non saprei...
La utilizzo fuori casa con la sua spugnetta per poi pulirla almeno una volta a settimana. Non ho il tempo di ritoccarmi spessissimo, di solito mi capita di concedermi questo "lusso" quando esco la sera. Oppure quando passo dall'ufficio all'aperitivo e rinfresco il trucco.
Considerandone l'utilizzo quindi trovo che sia un buon compromesso qualità/prezzo.
Sarebbe carino che ELF vendesse anche delle spugnette di ricambio perchè con l'uso e i lavaggi questa inevitabilmente si rovina!

Sorprendentemente l'INCI non è assolutamente spaventoso. E' piuttosto classica come cipria compatta, ma non contiene paraffina. Ovviamente non siamo di fronte ad un cosmetico Eco-Bio ma c'è sicuramente di peggio. HYDROGENATED POLYISOBUTENE risulta rosso sull'Inci Analyzer ma giallo sul Biodizionario. linko qui un articolo sul forum Promiseland, dove se ne parla. E' un sostituto sintetico degli oli minerali, dalle buone performance. Su skin Deep è addirittura verde.

I bought this product with the purpose of carrying around in my bag for whenever I need to "powder my nose"! I think it's a good choice for what I wanted. It gets its job done : evens out the skin and matifies. It is a little too powdery and in my opinion is not suitable for darker skins. I don't tan but I got the impression that it would show too much on a darker skin tone than mine. I use it when I go aout at night or to an Happy hour straight form the office and I need to refresh my makeup.
I wash the sponge quite often to avoid bacterias development, but it would be nice if ELF sold sponges to substitue this one that eventually gets dirty and ruined. The ingredients' list is not too bad for a non-organic product. It'a a pretty traditional formulation for a pressed powder. I like it!
