Non ero sparita eh, solo un pò di caos ….
Io e l’ Ing. abbiamo terminato il corso al college e sostenuti gli esami, ben due giorni ! Writing, reading and speaking ! DovreMMO averli passati… Ora attendiamo il prossimo step di Settembre e nel frattempo ci diamo da fare con il lavoro !
Io ho iniziato una internship e mi dò tempo di una decina di giorni per capire se risponde in toto alle mie esigenze, se è utile per la mia esperienza, sennò si cerca altro immediatamente ! L’ Ing. è tornato in Italia per qualche giorno, soprattutto per …. andare al mare, e si, anche lavorare un pochino.
Qui oggi ci sono 16 gradi e sono appena terminate due ore di pesante pioggia ! Questo freschino non mi dispiace, non vorrei neanche per un istante essere in Italia a morire sotto il sole, cosa che per me è sempre stata una grande sofferenza, l’unica cosa che mi manca è un tuffo al mare !
Ieri qui a Londra c’è stata l’inaugurazione dello Shard, o ‘la scheggia’ un grattacielo a forma di piramide firmato dall’architetto Italiano Renzo Piano. Pensate che è il più grande grattacielo d’ Europa ed ospiterà fino a 12.000 persone al suo interno.
C’è da dire che il povero architetto Piano ha dovuto attendere ben 12 anni per vedere realizzata la sua ultima fatica, perchè non si riusciva a trovare degli investitori, poi come nelle migliori fiabe a lieto fine, è saltata fuori la Qatar National Bank … e chi altro sennò?
Sappiate che un appartamento all’interno di questa città verticale costa, da quanto si dice, 50 mila sterline al … metro quadro ! Quindi non pensateci su due volte e non dimenticate che, lo Shard è ‘una metafora perfetta della Londra di oggi’ as ‘The Guardian’ says.
Quale miglior investimento? Orsù aprite i portafogli !
