Interessante notare anche i conflitti d’interessi dichiarati dagli autori nel poster di presentazione dello studio durante il congresso Ectrims 2012 a Lione:

Va però evidenziato che il prof. Battaglia pur non ricevendo direttamente finanziamenti dalle case farmaceutiche li riceve come Presidente della Fism-Aism e ciò avrebbe dovuto essere dichiarato.
Inoltre tutti i partecipanti allo studio hanno percepito un compenso dalla Fism-Aism, che a sua volta riceve finanziamenti dalle principali case farmaceutiche della sclerosi multipla. Tutto ciò avrebbe dovuto essere dichiarato.
