The Italian "rules" for the New Year's Eve, Italian life

New Year is near.
Are you ready to have fun?
There are only a few small rules to follow for a perfect New Year's Eve (I called “rules” off –hands, but they are  the proverbs to avoid the bad luck tagged “made ​​in Italy”).
First of all if you want to have a bit of money for the new year, you have to  eat the lentils: I have given you the recipe, so I have a clear conscience!

Second thing to have the luck, you have to wear something red: positive and warm color... it definitely will be a good omen. Nothing complicated for me, because my favorite color is red: for those who had a more dark look, they have to break their sobriety with a touch of color!
Third and fundamental rule, remember what we say in Italy: "What do you do on New Year Eve, you will do throughout the year." Here comes the tricky part.

The lentils and cotechino

Let's have a quick think. Let's say that - following this proverb- we should do in one eve all the  things we like. I analyze what I like for example: sleeping, eating, traveling, being with friends, with family, reading, visiting museums. How can I do all this things at the same time in one night? Sincerely it looks a bit complicated. One more question: if you are fond of diving, for example? You have to stay in apnea or with cylinders, immersed in your bathtub until the New Year’ Eve is gone by (so that you will do this all the new year )? Dilemma!
I guess I'll just have fun with  my friends and I’ll eat a lot: this makes me happy.
Thinking  about this motto, it could work in reverse sense? So it could be that  if I do not see my boss a new year eve, I will not to see him throughout the year?

Capodanno è vicinissimo. Siete pronti a divertirvi? Ci sono solo alcune piccole regole da seguire per un perfetto capodanno ( bonariamente le ho chiamate regole ma sono scaramanzie firmate made in Italy). Prima di tutto se volete avere un po’ di soldi per l’anno nuovo mangiate lenticchie: io la ricetta ve l’ho data quindi ho la coscienza a posto! Seconda cosa per avere un po’ di fortuna indossate qualche cosa di rosso, colore positivo, caldo…sicuramente sarà di buon auspicio. Niente di complicato per me, perché il mio colore preferito è il rosso: per chi avesse uno stile più dark dovrete rompere la sobrietà del nero con una nota di colore! Terza e fondamentale regola ricordate cosa si dice in Italia: “ Quello che fai a capodanno lo fai tutto l’anno.” Qui arriva la parte complicata. Facciamo un po’ di mente locale. Diciamo che, seguendo questo motto, dovremmo fare cose che ci piacciono. Io ho analizzato le mie per esempio: dormire, mangiare, viaggiare, stare con gli amici, con la famiglia, leggere, vedere musei e monumenti, dipingere. Come posso riunire tutte queste cose in una sola notte e in più brindare al nuovo anno? Sinceramente la vedo un po’ complicata. Quindi se siete appassionati di immersione per esempio? Vi tocca rimanere in apnea oppure con le bombole immersi nella vasca da bagno finchè non sia passato il capodanno affinchè possiate fare questo tutto l’anno? Bel dilemma! Mi sa che mi limiterò a divertirmi con gli amici e mangiare a sazietà: mi rende già contenta questo. Però pensandoci bene , non potrebbe funzionare al contrario questo detto? Quindi potrebbe essere che se non vedo il mio capo a capodanno, ho speranza di non vederlo tutto l’anno?
