Parigi, ultima sfilata del secondo giorno di fashion week: Thierry Mugler, ancora una volta riesce a stupirci; dovevamo aspettarci il fatto che sarebbe stato un gran successo, già dal videoclip che ha anticipato la sfilata, "Anatomy of Change", che è stato proprio il titolo della collezione autunno-inverno 2011/12, disegnata interamente dal fashion design Nicola Formichetti.
Tra le quattro file di collonne, allestite per lo show, trasparenze, spalline alte, tagli netti e plateau vertiginosi sono alla base per una donna selvaggia e aggressiva, ma allo stesso tempo spiritosa; la donna Mugler,che si trasforma quasi in una donna animalesca, vestita di tessuti leggeri o drasticamente in pelle.
Per la seconda volta Lady Gaga è stata direttice musicale per la sfilata, questa volta, fornendo colonna sonora per lo spettacolo, in anteprima una canzone chiamata "Government Hooker" dal nuovo album, mixata con altre due canzoni, ormai già sentite. Ciò che ha stupito tutti però, non è stata la canzone, ma il fatto di averla vista sfilare in passerella, debuttando per la prima volta come modella. «Sto per fare il mio debutto come modella sulla passerella della sfilata di Thierry Mugler» twittava miss Gaga ieri; non ha le misure e le forme di una tipica modella, ma ha saputo far del meglio, come al suo solito anche in passerella. Mentre le modelle inciampavano e traballavano su altissimi tacchi impropobili, lei, in due cambi d'abito, è riuscita tranquillamente a camminare nei propri trenta centimentri di plateau, senza alcun problema. Presente come modello, poi, non poteva mancare Rick Genest, che ormai è diventato quasi un simbolo per Mugler.
Alla fine della sfilata, sono Nicola Formichetti Lady Gaga e Sebastian Peigne ad uscire e ringraziare il pubblico, tra i numerosi applausi.
