Vi devo svelare un segreto. 

Capita delle volte che mio marito stia fuori per lavoro e io sia a casa a cena sola. Allora mi concedo un piccolo vizio…mangio sul divano di fronte a qualche sit commedy .

Sapete cosa adoro mangiare in quelle serate dove non ho per niente voglia di cucinare?

Culatello e focaccia. Partiamo dal presupposto che la focaccia sta bene con tutto, posso dirvi che con il culatello è una vera delizia.

Il culatello non è mangiabile tutti i giorni, è un salume decisamente costoso! Un etto può costare circa 8 euro. In ogni caso  è buonissimo. Quindi quelle poche volte che decido di spendere tutti quei soldi vi assicuro che me lo gusto fino in fondo e che la soddisfazione è grandissima.

Non avete mai assaggiato il culatello? Almeno una volta nella vita dovreste farlo.

Il culatello è tipico della provincia di Parma . I salumi fra cui il prosciutto crudo lì lo sanno fare decisamente bene!

Il culatello è prodotto solo artigianalmente e questo ovviamente fa lievitare il prezzo! Pensate che fino agli anni ’80 il consumo era limitato solo alla zona di Parma.

Come si può pensare di  non diffondere questa delizia?!No decisamente impensabile!

Poi fortunatamente il suo commercio si è diffuso e oggi posso gustarlo anche io sul mio divano! Difficilmente si trova all’estero ed è forse il salume più pregiato e costoso. Se lo definiste prosciutto crudo sarebbe non corretto del tutto! Il culatello è culatello e nient’altro! Il più originale è quello prodotto a Zibello .

Prodotto artigianale, alta qualità, assolutamente italiano….secondo me merita !

Ultimo suggerimento? Un bel bicchiere di vino rosso frizzante .

Ok I’m going to tell you one my secret. It happens sometimes that my husband is not at home for dinner due to his job.

So I do something I like a lot … I eat on my sofa in front of some sit comedies. You know what I like to eat those evenings when I did not want to cook? Culatello and focaccia.

Focaccia is always tasty and it is suitable with every foods. If you decide to eat focaccia and culatello together the experience will be unique! Culatello is not everyday food. It is to expensive. Anyway you should eat it sometimes. A pound can cost 8 Euros. When I decided to spend all that money, I have been satisfied by the experience! Have you ever tasted culatello? At least once in your life, you should eat it.

Culatello is from the villages near Parma. There they do it  very well! Culatello is an  handcrafted Italian food,  that’s why it is so expensive! Until the Eighties,  this food was limited only to the Parma area. Then fortunately it has been sold also in the rest of Italy and abroad . Now I can enjoy it even on my sofa! Anyway it is difficult to buy Culattello out of the Italy. Culatello in not a simply ham.  Culatello is culatello and nothing more!  The most original is made in  Zibello.

It is an handcraft food, high quality,  Italian … It is tasty! Try it!

Last tip? A nice glass of sparkling red wine.
