Il software in questione è stato creato dalla software house MMMOOO, nota in tutto il mondo per avere creato già in passato dei launcher particolari per smartphone Symbian in grado di riproporre l’interfaccia di iOS ed Android sugli smartphone di Nokia.
Questa è la volta di Windows Phone 7 su Nokia N8.
Come testimoniano le immagini, grazie a WP7 Green Launcher è possibile avere su Nokia N8 (ed altri smartphone Symbian) un’interfaccia molto simile a quella di Windows Phone.

Queste sono le sue caratteristiche complete:
- Green tiles, white background (cannot be changed)
- Can open relevant apps as indicated by tile
- Cannot swipe right into app menu
- Does not have flick/smooth scrolling.
- Still early phase, MMMOOO say they will release a new version which would be more WP7 like.
