Il World Environment Day (W.E.D.) , ovvero la Giornata Mondiale dell’Ambiente, si celebra ogni anno il 5 giugno in tutto il mondo. L’evento mondiale fu istituito dall’O.N.U. per ricordare la Conferenza di Stoccolma sull’Ambiente Umano del 1972 nel corso della quale prese forma il Programma Ambiente delle Nazioni Unite U.N.E.P.
