Diretto di nuovo da Singer, vedrà nel cast James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner e Oscar Isaac; rumoreggiati nel cast - ma non confermati - anche Hugh Jackman, Evan Peters e Channing Tatum.
