Remake del celebre Fist of Fury (Dalla Cina con furore, inascoltabile) e anche meglio del primo, Fist of Legend si posa su basi molto comune ai film di arti marziali: voglia di rivalsa della Cina oppressa sul Giappone invasore, incarnata da un giovane allievo (Jet Li) che vendica il suo maestro, la sua scuola, il suo orgoglio. Girato meglio, montato meglio, coreografato meglio (non ce ne voglia Bruce Lee).
Fist of Legend is the remake of the well-known Fist of Fury: it’s even better and it’s built on the same fundamentals of the majority of martial arts films: a Chinese young disciple (Jet Li) wants to avenge his master, his school, his Country against the Japanese Empire. Fist of Legend is shot, edited and staged better than his model. Bruce Lee, please don’t get angry.
