First Haul of the year: Mac Daphne Guinness, Iris Apfel and more!!

Primo mega Haul del 2012!!!Per Capodanno sono andata a Milano e ne ho approfittato per fare un po' di spese ^^First big Haul of 2012!!!I've been in Milan for a few days (new year's eve) and I've bought a lot of makeup!

Da Sephora ho acquistato il "nuovo" e tanto decantato mascara di Benefit, They are real. Dopo i primi utilizzi posso dire che è un buon mascara, allunga ed incurva anche se non eccessivamente! Attualmente preferisco l'inimitable intense di Chanel. Ho anche acquistato un nuovo set di Nail Patches con una stampa tartan bianca e nera ^^.

From Sephora I've bought the Benefit's They are Real mascara. It's a good mascara that lenghts and curls, but it's not fabulous IMO. Chanel Inimitable Intense remains my favorite one ^^. I've also bought a new set of nail patches with a black and white Tartan pattern!

Inoltre mi è finalmente arrivato il famosissimo lip balm della marca Jack Black!!! L'ho acquistato circa un mese fa su lookfantastic (il Natale ha rallentato le spedizioni) e credo proprio lo ricomprerò quando finirà!! Ha un buon profumo di menta, fattore di protezione 25 e ammorbidisce incredibilmente le labbra... il migliore burro di cacao che abbia mai provato!!

Finally my Jack Black lip balm as arrived! I had ordered it from Lookfantastic because you can't find it in Italy! It's really amazing, has a lovely scent of mint, spf 25 and it really soften your lips! The best lip balm I've ever had.
E adesso passiamo a Mac XDHo acquistato alcuni pezzi della linea permanente, più precisamente la penna illuminante Prep+prime highlighter in Light Boost, un pennello da eyeliner con la speranza di imparare ad applicare le fluidlines (la Mua mi ha consigliato il 210 dicendo che è l'unico che sa usare XD) e un bel gloss prolongwear della collezione Style Driven!

Lasting Achievement, Light Boost

Il lipglass Lasting Achievement è molto pigmentato ed un colore estremamente vampy.. tanto quanto Prince Noir!! Non è difficile da applicare anche se non basta una sola passata perché è molto denso; il colore è compatto, non crea antiestetiche pieghette, non sbava, veramente un ottimo prodotto ed ha un odore chimico di cioccolato che non mi dispiace affatto.. sembra di spalmarsi la Nutella sulle labbra XD

Lasting Achievement is a rich vampy color! It's a great product that doesn't drag or settle into lip lines.. and to me it smells like chocolate (a chimic flavour of course)! It's like smearing chocolate on your own lips!
Il 2 gennaio Mac ha lanciato due nuove collezioni: Daphne Guinness e Iris Apfel!Ho valutato attentamente tutti i prodotti e mi sono concentrata principalmente su quelli per le labbra che a mio avviso avevano una marcia in più!Della collezione Daphne Guinness ho preso il blush ombre Azalea Blossom che è stato riproposto dopo il grande successo di qualche anno fa. è caratterizzato da una sfumatura che va dal lilla al rosa, è veramente poco pigmentato (perfetto per chi ha la pelle chiarissima, mentre si trasforma in un highlighter per chi ha la pelle scura) ma spero che dopo i primi utilizzi si intensifichi! Ha un finish perlato.

The 2nd of January Mac has launched two collections in Italy: Daphne Guinness and Iris Apfel.From Daphne Guinness I've taken the famous and repromoted blush ombre Azalea Blossom! It's characterized by two colors: lilac and pink! It's not very pigmented but I hope it will be stronger after some uses! It has a pearl finish and it's perfect for lighter skintones (but also for darker ones as a highlighter!)

Ho messo a confronto la parte rosa di Azalea Blossom con la beauty powder Oh so fair (collezione Venomous Villains). I due colori sono molto simili, Oh so fair è leggermente più pigmentata e calda.Azalea Blossom viene anche paragonato al blush minerale Sakura (collezione Quite Cute).

I've compared the pink side of Azalea Blossom and Oh so fair beauty powder (Venomous Villains collection). They are similar but Oh so fair is more pigmented and warmer! Azalea Blossom is also often compared with Sakura mineralize blush (Quite Cute collection).
Altro prodotto della Daphne è il pigmento Aurora.. lo definirei un toupe rosato... con riflessi platino!! Ha un finish frost ed una texture molto morbida.. veramente bello e lo vedo perfetto per chiunque!Lo ho paragonato al pigmento Tan (decisamente più caldo) e all'ombretto Suspect di Urban Decay (più marroncino).

Aurora pigment is a beautiful pink toupe with a platinum sheen!! It's very soft and has a frost finish.. IMO it's really flattering among different skintones! I've compared it with Tan pigment (warmer) and Urban Decay Suspect (browner).


Anche il gloss Narcissus secondo me può stare benissimo a chiunque!! è un cremesheen glass viola ciclamino direi ed è molto coprente per essere un cremesheen! Non è affatto appiccicoso ^^

Flaunting it, Narcissus, Bust out, Spitfire

Narcissus is a magenta purple cremesheen glass, it's really comfortable and flattering!
Here I've compared it with Flaunting it (Peacocky collection) which is greyer, Bust out which is more purple and Spitfire which is more magenta.

Lo ho paragonato ai miei gloss e rossetti viola: flaunting it è più scuro, coprente e contiene molto pigmento grigio, Bust ut è un rossetto più violaceo, Spitfire è decisamente più coprente e rosato.

Scarlet Ibis, Flamingo, Party Parrot

Della collezione Iris Apfel ho preso ben tre rossetti!! Uno, Scarlet Ibis, è saltato nel "carrello della spesa" all'ultimo minuto XD ero alla ricerca di un rosso aranciato, per la precisione Coromandel di Chanel, ma non c'è stato verso di trovarlo, così mi sono "accontentata" di Scarlet Ibis, che è molto più arancio di ciò che avevo in mente, ma comunque un ottimo rossetto matte in linea con il nuovo trend 2012: arancio a go go per tutte! Nelle foto i due rossetti matte appaiono leggermente più rossi che nella realtà, ciò è dovuto anche dal tipo di luce usato (cielo nuvoloso).

Scarlet Ibis

From Iris Apfel I've taken three lipsticks! I didn't want Scarlet Ibis because I was looking for a warm red and not a orange with a strong red undertone which SI is... I was looking for Chanel Coromandel, but since I've not found it I've decided to take Scarlet Ibis anyway: a good orange lipstick during 2012 will take a lot of use! In the picture it seems a bit redder!


Altro rossetto matte che ho preso è Party Parrot! Un rosa medio con sottotono caldo rosso incredibilmente brillante, quasi neon! Non ho niente di paragonabile!

Another matte lipstick is Party Parrot, an amazing medium red pink which is super bright, almost neon!! I've nothing like it in my collection.


Infine ho preso il tanto atteso Flamingo, primo rossetto ad andare sold out praticamente ovunque! è un corallo rosato dal finish lustre. Sono usciti molti rossetti simili ultimamente.. io non ho dupes, ma lo ho comunque paragonato al lipglass Strange Potion e alla CCB Virgin Isle che è decisamente più calda e accesa.

Flamingo

Finally I've bought the most awaited product of this collection: Flamingo, which is sold out the launch day almost everywhere! It's a pinky coral with a lustre finish. There are a lot of similar colors out there.. I don't have any dupes but I've compared it with Strange Potion lipglass and Virgin Isle CCb which is warmer and brighter!!

Ho anche ricevuto dei campioncini di pigmento! Stavolta mi sono ricordata di chiederli! Alla Mac in via torino danno veramente pochissimo prodotto, mentre alla rinascente riempiono quasi del tutto la jar!

Questo è stato il mio primo super Haul del 2012! .. e ci sono ancora cose che dovrei  (vorrei) comprare, per non parlare di qualche capo di abbigliamento ... spero di fare presto un giro per negozi! Comprerete qualcosa ai saldi??
This has been my first big Haul of 2012 and there are still a lot of things I'd like to buy... most of all I'd like to buy some clothes! I have to go around looking for sales! Are you going to buy something in this period??
