Gravity e Pacific Rim irrompono sulle nominations dei VES Awards 2014

ves awards All'indomani delle premiazioni dei Golden Globes 2014 ad Hollywood si torna a sperare nella corsa agli Oscar 2014 ed in particolare grazie ai più importanti premi satelliti per categoria.

Questa sera è il turno dei VES Awards 2014 (Visual Effects Society), ovvero i premi dedicati per l'appunto ai migliori effetti speciali dell'anno nel cinema, nella televisione e nei videogame.

A dominare la sezione cinematografica è stato, senza sorprese, Gravity, per il film di Alfonso Cuaron ben 8 nominations, sono state invece 6 quelle di Pacific Rim mentre Lo Hobbit: La Desolazione di Smaug ed Iron Man 3 ne hanno guadagnate 5.

Da segnalare inoltre che Alfonso Cuaron, come già annunciato in precedenza, ritirerà il Visionary Awards 2014.

I premi saranno assegnati il 12 febbraio 2014.
