Illamasqua haul

Buonasera a tutte!Finalmente ho acquistato i miei primi prodotti Illamasqua; li ho presi su asos.com approfittando del fatto che le spese di spedizione sono gratuite, alcuni prodotti sono scontati ed era possibile avere un ulteriore 20% di sconto! Dulcis in fundo ho risparmiato circa 40 euro!!! (Illamasqua sei un po' cara).
Good evening!I finally caved and bought mi first products of Illamasqua on asos.com. I've saved a lot of money because asos ships to Italy for free and had a 20% coupon on outlet objects!! Illamasqua is a bit expensive ......
Ho voluto provare due smalti e due pigmenti cremosi (questi ultimi sono usciti con la collezione Toxic Nature.... che meraviglia, ricordate?).
I've bought two nail polishes and two cream pigments (from the wonderful Toxic Nature collection, do you remember?).Veramente spettacolare, oltre ai pigmenti in crema mi avevano molto colpita gli smalti (infatti uno dei miei acquisti è stato il Purity di questa collezione) e i rossetti (prima o poi voglio acquistare il rossetto Atomic.. più poi che prima!).
This collection was really amazing and I also liked nail polishes (indeed I've bought Purity) and lipsticks (I'll buy Atomic in a late future).

CREAM PIGMENTS 17£ = 19,3 euroI pigmenti in crema di Illamasqua hanno un finish matte e una texture leggerissima. Non hanno niente a che vedere con i paint pot di Mac e probabilmente pure con le aqua cream d Mufe (non le ho mai provate). Li ho acquistati per usarli come base ombretto e nel caso di Dab, il pigmento lilla, come blush. Fin dal primo utilizzo ho capito che non potrò mai usarli in questo modo ...
Illamasqua pigments have a matte finish and a really light texture. They are not at all like Mac paint pots or Mufe aqua creams. I wanted to use them as eyeshadow bases (and Dab, the lilac one, as a blush) but from the first sight I've understood I'll never use them that way ..

Dab, Bedaub

Il colore è decisamente modulabile, potete raggiungere facilmente una buona pigmentazione, ma la caratteristica di questi pigmenti è di fondersi completamente con la pelle senza appesantirla; per questo motivo credo che il loro migliore utilizzo sia come Primer correttivi! Il pigmento lilla, Dab, può essere usato dalle ragazze con sottotono giallo molto evidente (tipo il mio o ragazze asiatiche o ragazze olivastre) al fine di rendere più neutri i toni del viso. Il pigmento Bedaub invece attenua facilmente i rossori creati da freddo, brufoletti o ceretta (baffetti e sopracciglia vari).Questo non vuol dire che non possano essere usati sugli occhi, ma necessitano una base! L'unico modo in cui sono riuscita a farli funzionare sugli occhi è applicando prima di tutto il Paint Pt Painterly di Mac, poi pigmento cremoso Illamasqua e infine un ombretto in polvere! Il risultato finale è decisamente più intenso.
The color is really buildable and you can easily reach a good pigmentation, but they really blend into the skin in a wonderful way so I guess they can be great primers! Dab can be used from yellow toned girl such as me, olive girls and asian girls to  uniform the complexion. Bedaub can neutralize redness caused by acne, cold and wax. The only way I've found to make them work on the eyes is to use a paint pot such as Painterly, than to build the cream pigment and finally fix everything with a powder eyeshadow!

Il pigmento Dab può avere un'ulteriore funzione: è un ottimo illuminante!Probabilmente può anche essere usato come blush, ma solo su chi ha una carnagione... cadaverica! Per tutte le altre credo possa essere un illuminante da tutti i giorni... rigorosamente matte!
Dab pigment can be used in another way: as a beautiful highlighter!Probably it can also be used as a blush but only on extra cadaveric pale ones!!!Everyone else can enjoy this every day matte highlighter ^^Su di me è decisamente sbiancante se usato come blush!It bleaches me too much as a blush! (and I'm not dark at all)
Infine questi cream pigments sono pure lip safe... e allora proviamoli anche sulle labbra, giusto?!?

Dab

La durata sulle labbra è veramente scarsa.. se osate bere qualcosa va via tutto! sarebbe quindi utile applicare prima una matita (consiglio naked di Mac), ma temo secchi troppo le labbra! Quindi i passaggi da fare anche in questo caso sarebbero: primer per labbra, matita per labbra, cream pigment! Di sicuro non si prestano a trucchi veloci :P
They are not long-wearing at all so I advice you to use a pencil underneath them (such as Mac Naked) and also a lip primer to avoid dryness! They are not good for fast looks :P

NAIL POLISH 13,50£ = 15,3 euroGli smalti Illamasqua sono indubbiamente molto belli! Colori originali (e insoliti/importabili) e texture meravigliosa. Unica pecca riscontrata è la stesura... un po' difficile a causa del pennellino minuscolo (mi stavo abituando al pro wide brush di OPI!!). Fate attenzione al doppio tappo ad incastro: se ruotate il tappo superiore ruotate automaticamente anche quello inferiore.. potreste rischiare di lasciare aperto il vostro prezioso smalto!
Illamasqua nail polishes are really beautiful with original and strange colors (sometimes unwearable) and a great texture. The only defect is the too small brush (I love the OPI pro wide brush) and it's not always easy to apply the product. Pay attention to the double bottle top: if you twist the upper one you are also twisting the one underneath and opening the bottle!!!
Lo smalto Purity ha un colore pescato veramente unico, finish cremoso e neanche l'ombra di un brillantino! Consiglio due passate, ma se siete abili potrebbe bastarne una sola per un effetto più delicato. La stesura, come già accennato, non è delle più semplici e sicuramente colore e finish di questo smalto non aiutano, ma è comunque adorabile!
Purity is a beautiful and unique peachy color, it has a cream finish without any shimmer! Two coats for perfection but if you apply it in the right way you could use only one coat for a dainty look. It's not the easiest nail polish to apply because of brush, color and texture, but I love it ^^

Purity (Toxic Nature)

Lo smalto Scarab è tutt'altra cosa! Colore molto autunnale e dal finish metallizzato; è uscito con la collezione  Art of Darkness insieme al meraviglioso smalto Viridian *___*.
Scarab is really different from Purity! The color is really autumnal and has a metallic finish; it has launched with the collection Art of Darkness with the fantastic Viridian nail polish *___*.

La stesura è molto più semplice; anche in questo caso due passate garantiscono un risultato ottimale!
The application is easier and if you want a perfect result you need two coats (but have full coverage also with one coat).

Molto vampiresco/notturno... bello bello bello! Ma nonostante tutto, preferisco il Purity perché più insolito!
Very vampy and nocturnal... amazing! But I love Purity more because it's unusual and a bit weird^^
PS se vi può interessare su Asos i pigmenti e gli smalti della Toxic Nature sono a sconto! 8,5 euro per gli smalti e 11,9 per i cream pigments!! Purtroppo non c'è più l'ulteriore 20% di sconto, ma forse online potete trovare qualche coupon!!!
