Kilt time!

Il british style è uno stile dei più versatili ed ha come estremi il massimo dell’eleganza e della sobrietà da una parte e lo stile punk e rock dall’altra
L’emblema di questa tendenza è il tartan, il caratteristico tessuto dei kilt scozzesi, che negli anni è stato grande protagonista di diverse campagne pubblicitarie invernali D&G: anche se sono di qualche anno fa, ho deciso di postarle perchè trovo il lavoro di styling operato su questi look veramente eccellente, considerando il fatto che gli abbinamenti che hanno realizzato sono piuttosto azzardati.Normalmente il tartan è facile da indossare perché è molto versatile e si abbina a qualsiasi colore, ma è preferibile indossarlo assieme a capi a tinta unita: tentare di affiancarlo ad altre fantasie può essere piuttosto rischioso, infatti basta poco ed l'effetto clown è dietro l'angolo. Di base comunque i colori dominanti in genere sono il giallo e il rosso, i tipici colori dell’autunno, usati in contrasto ad una gamma di toni freddi come il grigio e il nero: se non si esagera, i colori sgargianti che si alternano a sfondi scuri creano un forte contrasto cromatico che nelle tonalità tipiche di questo stile risulta subito molto raffinato... vale la pena provarlo non credete? ;)

The emblem of this trend is tartan, the fabric of Scottish kilt , which was great protagonist of several D&G campaigns, even if these are pretty old, I find the styling work on these looks really excellent, considering the fact that the combinations that have made are pretty risky. Normally tartan is easy to wear because it is very versatile and combines well with any color, but it is preferable to wear it with solid pieces: try to mix it with other patterns can be quite risky, if you overdo just a bit, the clown efect is around the corner. Basically, however, dominant colors are yellow and red, the colors of autumn, used in contrast to a range of cold tones such as grey and black: If you do not overdo it, the bright colors alternating with dark backgrounds creates a strong contrast, that in the tones typical of this style is immediately very sophisticate... a style to try, don't you think? ;)
