Perché un blog? – A Blog…why?

L’idea del blog nasce dalla mia passione per i viaggi: amo organizzarli, pianificarli e viverli.. ed amo parlarne!

Il nome del blog è nato per caso, ero molto indecisa… alla fine ho optato per TripVillage:

TRIP (viaggio, che è appunto la tematica principale) e VILLAGE (il mio quartiere preferito di Manhattan)

A differenza di molti appassionati non ho iniziato fin da piccola, anzi! A parte le gite scolastiche, il primo viaggio (anche se era una vacanza, non un viaggio) risale al 2002 quando avevo 16 anni: i miei decisero di portarmi in vacanza in Egitto per “riprendermi” dopo un infortunio al ginocchio.

Diciamo che quell’infortunio ha dato il via a tutto: dopo 5 anni c’è stata una ricaduta e di conseguenza un’operazione… e questa volta mi sono premiata da sola (dato che avevo iniziato a lavorare) realizzando il sogno di andare a New York e aggiungendo una settimana alle Bahamas!

Le emozioni provate durante questo viaggio sono indimenticabili: finalmente il sogno di bambina delle elementari di vedere NY realizzato (anche se senza Torri Gemelle.. prima cosa di cui mi ero innamorata), e poi il caldo, il sole e l’atmosfera delle Bahamas dove ho conosciuto persone fantastiche e dove è anche nata un’amicizia bellissima con 2 sorelle di Milano con cui ancora mi sento e mi vedo. Ancora oggi per me questa è stata la vacanza più divertente della mia vita!

Da quel viaggio non mi sono più fermata! Mi sono maggiormente dedicata agli Stati Uniti ma la voglia di conoscere il resto del Mondo sta iniziando a far tremare il mio conto in banca!

 The blog idea was born from my passion for travel : I love to organize, schedule and live them .. and I love talking about it!

The name of the blog came about by chance , I was very indecisive … in the end I opted for TripVillage :

TRIP (travel, which is precisely the main theme ) and VILLAGE ( my favorite neighborhood in Manhattan )

 Unlike many others passionate I haven’t started travel from a young age ;  aside school trips , the first trip ( even though it was a holiday, not a trip ) dates back to 2002, when I was 16 years old: my parents decided to take me on vacation to Egypt ” recover ” after a knee injury.

Let’s say that the injury has given rise to all: after 5 years there has been a relapse and therefore a surgery … and this time I decide to reward myself (since I started working ) realizing my dream to go to New York and adding a week in the Bahamas !

The emotions experienced during this trip are unforgettable : the dream of a child to see NY realized (though without the Twin Towers .. first thing I fell in love with) , and then the sun and the atmosphere of the Bahamas where I met great people and where is born a beautiful friendship with two sisters from Milan (yeah..it’s a little bit weird that we live at about 30km away and we met in the Bahamas!!), with whom I still in contact . Even today, for me this was the most fun week of my life!

Since that trip I haven’t stopped anymore ! I travelled a lot to the United States , but the desire to visit the rest of the world is starting to shake my bank account!
