Saurik e Pangu stanno lavorando duro, risolti i problemi di iMessage, Safari e codice di blocco

Il Pangu Team ha rilasciato il proprio tool per effettuare il Jailbreak Untethered di iOS 8 il 22 Ottobre, circa tre giorni fa. Ma non tutto oro è quel che luccica, infatti una volta effettuato il Jailbreak con Pangu, Cydia non appariva all'utente finale, questo accadeva perché Saurik non aveva aggiornato ne Cydia ne il Cydia Substrate. Oggi però una comunicazione importante ci arriva da Saurik e da un commento posto su Reddit.

Saurik ha postato circa 4 ore fa questo commento:

We have definitely been working together, with lots of e-mails back and forth. I explained to them what was wrong with Substrate on boot, and they mostly fixed it; what was still not working I ended up sending them a patch to fix (after asking them for the source code to that tiny part of the untether). We have Substrate working really well now, as far as I can tell.

I have been working on the passcode issues (which were somewhat deeper than just "stashing", as tons of important files in /var were also ending up with the wrong data protection class) and have now finished fixing that (in a way that should upgrade anyone already using Cydia to a state where a passcode should be safe again just by installing the new Cydia package).

There are, however, a couple more key issues I need to fix in Cydia (such as the user's language setting being ignored). There are also some other unrelated issues in the untether that I forwarded to Pangu on behalf of some extension developers, which they have already fixed (but now need to be tested). I don't know much about the problems Pangu is working on.

Non possiamo tradurvelo tutto ma ve lo riassumiamo volentieri:

Stiamo definitivamente lavorando insieme, con uno scambio di mail intensivo, avanti e indietro. Ho spiegato a loro cosa è andato storto con il Substrate all'accensione, e sono riusciti a fixarlo [....] Abbiamo adesso un Substrate che funziona molto bene adesso, al meglio che potevo. Ho lavorato al problema del codice di blocco [...] e adesso ho finito di fixarlo [...] basterà installare il nuovo pacchetto di Cydia. Ci sono molti altri problemi che devo fixare in Cydia [...].

Saurik ci ha fatto sapere di essere riuscito a fixare la maggior parte dei problemi riscontrati dagli utenti, iMessage, Safari e il Codice di Blocco che mandava in BootLoop iPhone 6 e iPhone 6 Plus. Questo potrebbe risollevarvi in quanto in breve tempo potremmo vedere un aggiornamento da parte del Pangu Team del proprio Tool.
