iniziamo con un aperitivo?

Che io adori mangiare è un dato di fatto: lo avevamo capito tutti.

Come giustamente dice mia madre bisogna godere dei piaceri della vita e mangiare è uno di questi. Io sono d’accordo con questo, ma penso che bisogna farlo sempre nella maniera giusta.
Quindi tanto sapore, ma anche cibi sani che, nonostante se ne dica, sono buoni.

Ci sono poi delle occasioni speciali in cui si possono fare delle eccezioni.

I love eating. I imagine all of you have already understood this! We have to enjoy the pleasures of life and eating is one of these – as my mother always says. I agree with her but I think we must always eat healthy. The healthy food is also tasty and very good! Anyway there are special occasions when you can do some exceptions.

Entriamo nel mercato metropolitano!

Alcune delle mie occasioni speciali son gli street market.

Ultimamente ci porto i miei genitori. La prima volta che ho portato mia madre in uno street market mi aveva detto: “ io qui non mangio”, peccato che dopo mezz’ora fosse seduta su un bancale adibito a sedie con una vaschetta di olive ascolane in mano. Come cambiare idea nel giro di mezz’ora!
Da allora è una assidua frequentatrice degli street market!

Some of my special occasions are the street markets. I often bring my parents there. The first time I took my mother there she said me : “I ‘m not going to eat here” . Just an half an hour after she was sitting on a bench – used as a chair – with a tray of stuffed olives in hand. This is how a person can change her mind in less than half an hour. Now she loves to go on the street markets.

Pensavo che fossero iniziative solo straniere: New York, Londra, Barcellona e invece mi sono dovuta ricredere.

I thought that street markets were only foreign events : New York, London, Barcelona .
I was wrong!

Anche a Milano è scoppiato il boom degli street food market e son posti piacevoli da frequentare soprattutto con il bel tempo.  Si può gustare un buon bicchiere di vino e mangiare qualche stuzzichino scoprendo quelli che sono i finger food che tanto vanno di moda adesso. Io ne adoro due in particolare: il mercato metropolitano che c’è stato sotto expo e lo Street East market ( chiamato così perchè nella parte est di Milano) dove in realtà ci sono mercati tematici e non manca quello del food. Now there is the boom of the street food markets in Milan.

Adoro il fatto che in questi mercati tutto viene riutilizzato!

They are pleasant places where to go above all during Spring and Summer time. Here you can drink a glass of wine and eat some snacks of the finger food, so trendy in this moment in Milan. I love two markets in particular – the Metropolitan market ( that there was during Expo fair and the Street East market ( in the east of Milan). In this last there are thematic markets, one different every week. Often there are some food markets Ho assaggiato delle specialità molto buone … guardate un po’ cosa ho trovato e che posti piacevoli! I have discovered some very tasty food … look what I have found!

MERCATO METROPOLITANO

Il mercato metropolitano era stato aperto per l?Expo…chi pensava avrebbe avuto così successo?

Mercato metropalitano has been created during Expo fair…who could immgine thate it will become a so popular place?

Una parte è all’aperto e una al chiuso così può funzionare tutte le stagioni!

The market has an outdoor area and an indoor area. Great for all the seasons!

Io trovo che abbia un design molto trendy! Hanno riutilizzato bancali, sacchi, cassette creandone sedie, vasi!

I think it has very trendy design! Pallets, bags, boxes become  chairs and vases!

Ok nel Mercato metropolitano eravamo in una vecchia stazione. Adesso siamo in un vecchio capannone industriale recuperato. Adoro questi posti!

Ok in the metropolitan market we were in an old station. Now we’re in an old industrial building recovered. I love these places!

Ci sono stand di street food e finger food. La scelta è ampissima.
Cucina italiana e internazionale.
Bisogna andare a stomaco vuoto altrimenti è impossibile assaggiare tutto!

There are stands of street food and finger food.. the choice is huge. The Italian and international foods. You have to be hungry to go there, otherwise it is impossible to taste everything!

  

Che bontà e poi quanti oggetti vintage!
Penso che stia bene il vintage in un ambiente di recupero industriale.
Da un aria molto bohemien al tutto

A so gorgeous food and a lot of  vitage objects! I thnk that the vintage style is perfect in an industrial recovery architecture. All has a very bohemian atmosphere.

Non ce l’ho fatta ad assaggiare tutto così ho preso due piatti che decisamente mi sono gustata:
la puccia e la pittula.
Cliccate quì se non sapete cosa sia  la puccia.
Per la pittula…per adesso vi lascio la foto ma prometto di raccontarvi sia quanto è buona sia che cosa è. Tutte due sono specialità della magnifica regione Puglia!

I could not taste everything so I took two dishes  I enjoyed a lot – puccia and pittula.

Ah scusate! In realtà ci siamo mangiati anche le olive ascolane e quelle al tartufo erano eccezionali!
