Vivo X6 and X6 Plus Launched

Vivo has launched X6 and the X6 Plus, both the devices come clad in a metal unibody and the X6 Plus is essentially the larger screened variant of the X6.

As far as the display is concerned, the Vivo X6 is fitted with a 5.2-inch display, the X6 Plus on the other hand incorporates a bigger 5.7-inch display. Both the devices sport a 2.5D glass and the much necessary Corning Gorilla protection. The X6 Plus is just a bigger variant of the X6. The newly launched Vivo devices sport a fingerprint scanner at the back and just like all the other smartphone manufacturers, Vivo also seems to be readying its own payment system.

Under the both smartphones Vivo X6 and the X6 Plus have a 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz and paired with a mammoth 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. Both the devices are expected to support running two apps at a single instance, which literally means that you can run two apps side by side without switching from one app to another, a feature Apple boasted of during the iPad Pro release. The newly launched devices will be running the FunTouch OS 2.5 along in with the Android Lollipop 5.1. The Vivo X6 is backed by a 2400mAh battery pack while the X6 Plus have a bigger 3000mAh battery pack along with an option of a 4000mAh battery pack for an extra cost.

On the camera, the X6 and the X6 Plus feature a 13-Megapixel snapper with PDAF focus and the front camera shapes up in the form of a 8-Megapixle sensor. The Vivo X6 offers 32GB of internal storage whereas the X6 Plus comes with a 64GB internal storage. While the 5.2-inch X6 will cost an equivalent of $390 while the X6 Plus will cost $469.
