Second, lately I'm dreaming LA more than ever, with its rarefield lights and its untouchable, refined, sensual, tangibly glamorous air.Third, Band of Outsiders is one of my top brands, as well as it has been the first topic of my first fashion article ever.Fourth, the cemetery setting, a cemetery in which between the other ones there's the headstone of my beloved, venerated Alfred Hitchcock, the director who reign in my heart since always and who managed to be the protagonist of my graduation thesis too. Fifth, polaroids. Wonderful little visual diaries which are able to catch not only a moment, but all the things which create that momenrt. Polaroids impress and record the moment framing time in a little square of photographic paper. I think these reasons are enough to explain why I so love this campaign so bad.These polaroids have been shooted by the creator of Band of Oustiders, Scott Steinberg. A more fresh and american version of the all-able Karl Lagerfeld?
Punto primo, non potete nemmeno immaginare quanto io sia pazza di Michelle Williams e della sua eterea, delicata, effimera femminilità. Punto secondo, sono settimane che sogno LA, le sue luci rarefatte e la sua intoccabile aura raffinata, sensuale, tangibilmente glamour. Punto terzo, Band of Outsiders è uno dei brand che più amo, nonché il primo argomento del mio primo articolo di moda in assoluto. Punto quarto, l'ambientazione in un cimitero, dove campeggia tra le altre la lapide del mio adorato, venerato Alfred Hitchcock, regista che regna sul mio cuore da una vita e che è riuscito anche ad essere protagonista della mia tesi di laurea. Punto quinto, le polaroid. Magnifici piccoli voraci diari visivi, capaci di catturare non solo il momento, ma tutto quello che lo crea e di impressionarlo e registrarlo racchiudendo il tempo in un quadratino di carta fotografica. Non credo di dover aggiungere altro. Le polaroid in questione sono state scattate dallo stesso creatore del brand, Scott Steinberg. Una versione più fresca e americana del tuttofare Karl Lagerfeld?
