April Press Review

After a long break because of the study and other matters, I'm back in a rainy afternoon missing the spring sun. Did you miss me ? I'm back to talk you about fashion, this time the "paper" one. Just come back to read the magazines with a little bit more attenction. Today we're gonna go in foreign countries with a little press review of some April issues that I got home and I had the pleasure to read. Are u ready ? Let's start !

Dopo una lunga pausa causa studio e impegni vari, torno a farvi compagnia in un pomeriggio grigio e piovoso, il sole primaverile per ora possiamo anche scordarcelo. Vi sono mancata ?Torno a raccontarvi di moda, stavolta non virtuale ma cartacea. Torniamo per un attimo a sfogliare le riviste patinate con un po' di attenzione. E no, non parlo della copia di Vogue Italia che tenete sulla scrivania e ancora dovete leggere con attenzione. Oggi andiamo all'estero e vi propongo una piccola rassegna stampa di alcuni giornali di Aprile che ho avuto la fortuna di avere a casa e di poter leggere. Pronti ? Cominciamo !VOGUE US - APRIL 2012

The April one is the so-called "Shape Issue", an issue dedicated to the body shapes, the ones that many women prefer to cover because too embarassing and many other rather to show because are more self-confident. The first editorial that catched my eyes was the one with Kate Moss. In order to celebrate the closing for renovation of the Ritz Paris hotel, Kate Moss has been shooted for the last time in Haute Couture and the editorial has gathered all the histories of its customers.Quello di Aprile è il così detto "Shape Issue", ovvero un numero dedicato a celebrare le forme, quelle che molte di noi preferiscono nascondere perché troppo imbarazzanti e che altre vogliono scoprire perché sono più sicure di sé. Ma sfogliandolo all'interno, il primo servizio che mi ha colpito è stato quello che vede protagonista Kate Moss, che per celebrare la chiusura per rinnovo dell' Hotel Ritz Paris, ha raccolto le testimonianze di chi ha soggiornato, anche per poco, nel tempio dello sfarzo e del lusso. Ed emblema di questa celebrazione non può che essere Kate vestita da capo a piedi di Haute Couture.Let's turn the page and here's a flash article called "From Russia with Style". E se Mosca è fredda nel clima, non lo è sicuramente nello stile; il "Russian Pack", composto dalla designer Vika Gazinskaya, dalla stylist Miroslava Duma, da Elena Perminova, e dalla direttrice di Tatler Russia Anya Zioutobs, sa sicuramente come distinguersi agli occhi del fashion system.
Last but not least here's the it girl Caroline Issa, fashion director of Tank magazine and editor of Because London. Those enigmatic eyes and skin tell her Canadian origins (Montreal) and her style is definitely one of the streetstylers' favourite- She tells to be really happy when someone stops her for a photo and she thinks that blogs are really inspiring because they're a way to express your personal point of view in this industry.

Last but not least ecco la it girl del momento Caroline Issa, fashion director del giornale Tank ed editor di Because London. Quegli occhi enigmatici e la pelle olivastra raccontano le sue origini canadesi (Montreal) e il suo stile è sicuramente uno dei preferiti dagli streetstyler. Racconta di essere entusiasta quando qualcuno la ferma per una foto e i blog di moda la ispirano molto poichè li considera un modo per esprimere la propria opinione in questa industria.HARPER'S BAZAAR UK - APRIL 2012

The Shop section is a focus on the trends for this season with many solutions, from the high street ones to the branded name ones. The ones that catched my eyes were the urban safari trend and the floreal prints, that in small amount can be really fashionable.

La sezione Shop propone un focus sui trend di stagione con soluzioni per tutti i tipi, dalle high street alle più costose. Quelle che mi hanno colpito di più sono sicuramente il trend del safari urbano e le stampe floreali, che prese a piccole dosi, sono molto accattivanti.

The cover shoot talks about the twins better known in the fashion system, the Olsen. I am really fascinating by the dresses they wear in the shoots, charming.

Il servizio di copertina parla delle due gemelle probabilmente più conosciute nel fashion system, le Olsen. Sono rimasta affascinata dagli abiti che indossano nel servizio, incantevoli.

The long pleated skirt are back. I love them, in every lenght. Elle celebrates them with a trousersless-shoot, there's space only for pastel tones and pleats. And of course the following shooting is a triumph of brights colour and prints. It seems to get into a Kandinsky picture.

Tremate, tremate, le gonne lunghe plissettate sono tornate. Io le adoro, di qualunque lunghezza esse siano. Elle le celebra con un servizio in cui non c'è spazio per i pantaloni, ma solo per toni pastello e plissettature.E ovviamente il servizio successivo è un trionfo di tinte brillanti e stampe di ogni genere.
