Art and fashion: fashion is art!!!

Buongiorno a tutti!!:)
Stamani è la volta della mia amatissima Rubrica sulla moda e L'arte, sto parlando di "ART AND FASHION: FASHION IS ART".
Come avrete visto nel corso di questa Rubrica, mi piace affrontare temi diversi, stamani vista la mia grande passioni per i costumi cinematografici e teatrali, vi voglio mostrare i costumi di scena di uno dei più bei film della storia del cinema italiano, ossia "Il Gattopardo" di Luchino Visconti e il costumista Piero Tosi.
Piero Tosi è uno dei più grandi e talentuosi costumisti italiani,il meglio di se l'ha dato appunto grazie alla collaborazione con il regista/amico Luchino Visconti e ha vinto da poco l'Oscar alla Carriera.
Piero Tosi decise di intraprendere il lavoro di costumista, perché nutriva una grande passione nei confronti del cinema. Iniziò lavorando in piccole compagnie teatrali, poi un giorno durante un Festival fu notato dal grande Luchino Visconti e a partire da quel momento per Piero Tosi, iniziò il lungo e fortunato viaggio, come costumista, nel mondo del cinema.
Per Tosi il lavoro del costumista va al di là del disegnare bozzetti, scegliere le stoffe, i materiali, per lui significa anche alzarsi al mattino presto, vivere quotidianamente sul set, seguire di continuo gli attori, non mollarli e non abbandonarli mai a se stessi.
Inoltre ha spiegato che per intraprendere questo mestiere c'è bisogno di effettuare tanti tantissimi tentativi, ma cosa molto importante, lo studio,  è fondamentale conoscere le epoche storiche, i personaggi, i costumi di un certo periodo, non basta disegnare un bozzetto per definirsi un "costumista". Come in tutte le cose, c'è bisogno anche di fortuna, dobbiamo saperci muovere bene all'interno del mondo del cinema, coglierne tutte le sfaccettature, saper cogliere al volo le occasioni quando capitano.
Ho voluto presentarvi Piero Tosi perché lo considero un grande costumista, che ha dato tanto al nostro cinema, e visto che la mia rubrica è aperta a tutte le forme artistiche, ecco che stamani per voi ci sono i costumi del film di Luchino Visconti "Il Gattopardo".

This morning it was the turn of my beloved Book on fashion and art , I'm talking about " ART AND FASHION: FASHION IS ART" .
As you have seen in the course of this address book , I like to deal with different issues this morning because of my great passions for film and theater costumes , I want to show the costumes of one of the finest films in the history of Italian cinema , that " Il Gattopardo "by Luchino Visconti and costume designer Piero Tosi .
Piero Tosi is one of the largest and most talented Italian costume , the best of the note gave thanks to the collaboration with director / friend Luchino Visconti and has recently won an Oscar for Lifetime Achievement .
Piero Tosi decided to undertake the work of costume designer, because it had a great passion towards cinema. He began working in small theater companies , then one day during a festival was noticed by the great Luchino Visconti and from that moment to Piero Tosi, began the long and successful journey as a costume designer in the world of cinema.
Tosi 's work goes beyond the costume design sketches, choose the fabrics , materials, for him it also means getting up early in the morning , live every day on the set, follow continuously the actors, not mollarli and never leave them to themselves .
He also explained that to pursue this profession need to make many many attempts, but most importantly , the study , it is important to know the historical periods , the characters , the costumes of a certain period , it is not enough to draw a sketch for defined a " costume " . As in all things, you also need luck , we must know how to move well inside the world of cinema , to capture all the facets , knowing how to seize upon the opportunities when they come .
I wanted to introduce Piero Tosi because I consider it a great costume designer, who has given so much to our cinema, and saw that my address book is open to all forms of art , here this morning for you there are the costumes for the films of Luchino Visconti's " The Leopard ".
