August Press Review

Finally, here's the press review of the best August's magazines. As you already know, one of the things I love to buy when I'm outsite Italy are magazines, and this time I have to say that I got plenty of them. I've been also able to buy the next month's issues. In the meantime enjoy this short resume of the most interesting contents, at least for me, of this month's issues. What do you think about them ?
Ecco finalmente la rassegna stampa delle migliori riviste di Agosto. Come già sapete, una delle cose che amo comprare quando sono fuori dall'Italia sono sicuramente le riviste, e questa volta devo dire di aver fatto il pieno. Sono riuscita infatti a comprare anche i numeri del mese prossimo. Nel frattempo però godetevi questo piccolo riassunto dei contenuti, a mio parere, più interessanti delle riviste di questo mese. Cosa ne pensate ?W Magazine The faces of the moment have been snapped by Steven Maisel for an exclusive photoshoot. They're Joan Smalls and Karlie Kloss. There's also a nice page called "Inspiration Equation" that shows us what were American designers thinking about while creating their fall collections.   I volti del momento sono stati fotografati da Steven Maisel per un esclusivo servizio. Sto parlando di Joan Smalls e Karlie Kloss. C'è anche una divertente pagina chiamata "Inspiration Equation" che mostra a cosa stavano pensando gli stilisti americani mentre creavano le loro collezioni autunnali.

The only editorial that really impressed me in the August issue, has been the one called "Caribbean Queen". The character is always the amazing Joan Smalls, this time photographed in her native city, Puerto Rico.  L'unico servizio che mi ha colpito del numero di Agosto, è stato quello chiamato "Caribbean Queen". La protagonista è sempre la meravigliosa Joan Smalls, stavolta però fotografata a Puerto Rico, la sua città natale.

VogueSpy focuses on one of the trend colour for this season, purple. My favourite piece has to be the amazing Prada printed coat. Looks like Lindsey Wixson is the new English muse. Her fawnlike eyes and her particular teeth are the iconic signs of her beauty.  VogueSpy focalizza l'attenzione su uno dei colori trend per questa stagione, il viola. Il mio pezzo preferito è sicuramente il cappotto stampato di Prada. Sembra inoltre che Lindsey Wixson sia diventata la nuova musa inglese. I suoi occhi da cerbiatta e i denti particolari sono segni iconici della sua bellezza.
Harper's Bazaar UKIn the August issue the attention is focused on one of the most important designers of the moment, and also one of my favourites. The French Isabel Marant tells about herself and about shoes, the best-sold piece in every collection. The covershoot is dedicated to the amazing Miranda Kerr, that wears the clothes of a young, beautiful horse rider.
Nel numero di Agosto l'attenzione è incentrata su una delle stiliste del momento, e anche una delle mie preferite. La francese Isabel Marant si racconta parlando di se e delle scarpe, il pezzo che nelle sue collezioni viene sempre venduto di più. Il servizio di copertina invece è dedicato alla meravigliosa Miranda Kerr, nei panni di una giovane, bellissima fantina.

One of the key-pieces for this summer has been the collar. Elle shows us how this piece can give to a simple shirt a twist. There's also an editorial about the key-pieces for this season already available in stores. My favourites are the Maje printed trousers, the Opening Ceremony espadrillas and the ponyskin shoes by Kurt Geiger.
Uno dei pezzi chiave per l'estate è stato il colletto. Elle ci mostra come questo accessorio possa cambiare completamente una semplice camicia. C'è inoltre un articolo sui pezzi chiave per questa stagione già disponibili nei negozi. I miei preferiti sono i pantaloni stampati di Maje, le espadrillas di Opening Ceremony e le scarpe in cavallino di Kurt Geiger.
