[Beauty Favourites Feb2013] Oh, WOW!

  [IT] Non sono solita pubblicare post sui preferiti del mese perché rischierei di essere ripetitiva, dato che, mese dopo mese, mi ritrovo a usare sempre gli stessi prodotti. Però ho pensato fosse comunque utile farvi una breve lista dei prodotti 'rivelazione' di febbraio, ovvero quei prodotti più o meno nuovi acquistati durante il mese e apprezzati notevolmente sin dai primi utilizzi.   [EN] I don't usually write monthly favourites posts only because I tend to be quite repetitive and I usually use the same products that work for my skin over and over again. But I thought it'd be interesting and maybe helpful to write a brief list of those products I bought during the month and which stood out since the very first time I used them.
BK13 LM Secret Brightening Powder Fit Me Pressed Powder n.105
[IT]  + CROWN BRUSH BK13 Blending Fluff Acquistato con il mio ordine di cui vi ho parlato in un precedente post, l'ho adorato e utilizzato tantissimo questo mese! Si tratta di uno di quei pennelli senza numero/nome/linea di riferimento, però fortunatamente sono riuscita a riscovarlo sul sito per linkarvelo direttamente, se siete interessate! E' un pennello ciccioso, abbastanza morbido e con setole fitte, ma più che un 'blending brush', come viene etichettato, a me piace utilizzarlo come pennello per applicare la polvere fissante nella zona perioculare. Lo trovo infatti grande abbastanza per applicare il prodotto in una sola passata, ma morbido e denso per un'effetto ben sfumato e non troppo evidente.  Insomma, davvero un'ottima scoperta, soprattutto per il prezzo. + LAURA MERCIER Secret Brightening Powder Ecco, per questo prodotto non posso proprio dire lo stesso riguardo al prezzo. Appartiene ad una fascia decisamente (ed esageratamente) più alta, ma mi sta davvero piacendo molto, per cui non mi sono pentita dell'acquisto. Si tratta della polvere fissante per la zona occhi citata prima, che applico proprio con il pennello CrownBrush, e la trovo divina per il suo scopo. Dire che è impalpabile è riduttivo; leggerissima, impercettibile e efficacissima. E' ancora più leggera di, per esempio, l'HD Powder di MUFE, se avete presente il prodotto. Contiene silica però, quindi ovviamente se siete particolarmente attente agli ingredienti, questa è da sconsigliare. + Maybelline FIT ME pressed Powder
Altro nuovo e piacevole acquisto di questo mese, la cipria compatta della linea Fit Me di Maybelline mi ha molto sorpresa. In generale, mi sono ritrovata ad apprezzare tutta la linea in generale, in particolare per il range di colori proposti, adatti anche a una carnagione chiara come la mia.
Io utilizzo il numero 105 e direi che è un match quasi perfetto. La trovo molto morbida, facile da stendere, ottima per fissare il fondotinta/correttore e, al tempo stesso, dare un tocco di coprenza in più, dato che non è trasparente.
Non dico che si tratti di una cipria eccellente, da promuovere a pieni voti o assolutamente necessaria nel vostro kit, però è molto buona anche come rapporto qualità/prezzo.
E questo è tutto per il mese di febbraio appena passato.

[EN] + CROWN BRUSH BK13 Blending Fluff This is one of their 'no name-no number-no line' brushes; luckily I remembered the style and I was able to fnd it again on their site to tell you exactly which one it is. Anyways, I received this with my order I posted last week (link here) and I've been using it non stop since then. It is a quite big and fluffy, but non tapered, blending brush. I find it's perfect for applying lose setting powder under the eyes to set concealer; it is fluffy enough not to make it appear cakey, but it's soft and nice enough to blend the products flawlessy. It was definiteyl a nice and pleasant discovery, especially for the price. + LAURA MERCIER Secret Brightening Powder Ok, this one is not so afforadble to begin with, but I must say it's worth every penny. This is an extremely nice lose powder, so finely milled you can barely feel it, not even when you swatch it on your hands. It's incredibly light, much more than, let's say, the MUFE HD Powder. It works wonders to brighten up the undereye area, set your concealer without the risk of looking cakey. However, if you don't like silica, then stay away from this. + Maybelline FIT ME pressed Powder First of all, I really appreciate the fact that this line includes such a wide range of shades, so that I was finally able to find an almost perfect match for my pale complexion. Second of all, it's a very nice and smooth product; it applies lightly onto your skin, while setting your face products. It also gives a little bit of extra coverage, being not translucent, which I really like. It helps your base (foundation, concealer) to last a little bit longer and your face to stay matte throughout the day. I can't say it is an extremely heavy-duty powder, but it's definitely nice enough for the money.   That's it for this month. Have you tried any of these products yet?
