Beauty Review #3: Before and After the Make-up (Sephora Haul)

For this third date with the beauty review, I decided to review some different products. We won't talk about powder, or shadows or nailpolishes, but we're going to talk about some products you need before and after the makeup. First of all I would like to give two small tips, that you may even already know, to all the people who has a oily or mixed skin: you have to wash the face every morning with a neutral Marseille soap, suitable for skin ( I love the one by Provenzali), and make circle movements in the most oily parts of the face (chin, forehead and around the nose); and then you always have to remove the makeup, even if there's only the mascara, with a cleansing milk, and then gently use the roses water on your face (the most amazing one is the Roberts' one). These little tips can be really useful and you'll immediately notice how your skin gets better. And now let's go to review some products:Per questo terzo appuntamento con la beauty review, ho deciso di recensire qualche prodotto diverso dal solito. Non si parlerà ne di fard, ne di ombretti, ne di smalti, ma si parlerà di alcuni prodotti che servono prima e dopo il trucco. Prima di cominciare vorrei dare dei piccoli consigli, che forse già sapevate, a tutte coloro che come me hanno la pelle mista o tendenzialmente grassa. Due sono i "caposaldi" della mia routine di bellezza: lavare a fondo la faccia ogni mattina con sapone di Marsiglia neutro o al massimo all'olio di oliva (io adoro quello dei Provenzali) insistendo sui punti dove si forma generalmente più sebo (mento, fronte e punta del naso) con dei movimenti circolari decisi ma non troppo aggressivi; e poi struccarsi sempre e comunque, tutte le volte, anche quando portate solo il mascara, con un tonico o un latte detergente, e poi passare delicatamente dell'acqua di rose (la migliore è quella della Roberts). Queste piccole accortezze, possono essere veramente utili e noterete subito come la pelle migliori di giorno in giorno. Passiamo invece ai prodotti del "prima e dopo" che ho deciso di recensire oggi:

This product has to be used before the make-up, it's a primer that makes the make-up fix to the skin and makes it lasts more. A small quantity is enough to cover the whole face. You'll immediately notice how your skin becomes smooth and matify, ready for the foundation !
Questo prodotto va applicato prima di cominciare a truccarsi, è una base che consente al trucco di aderire alla pelle e ne prolunga la durata. Ne basta pochissima e va passata su tutto il viso. Noterete subito come la pelle diventa immediatamente più liscia e opaca, pronta per il fondotinta !
Sephora Daily MakeUp Brush Cleaner


It's important that everytime you change the eyeshadow's colour, the brush has to be clean, because even a small quantity of products on the bristles, may even damage your skin. To keep your brushes always clean try this anti bacterial spray, 3-4 sprays are enough. Than wipe the brush onto a lint-free cloth to remove make-up and let it air dry; so you can use them immediately.
E' essenziale che ogni volta che cambiate colore dell'ombretto, il pennello sia pulito, poiché a lungo andare il prodotto rimasto sulle setole si sedimenta e rischia di essere dannoso anche per la vostra pelle. Per mantenere quindi i pennelli sempre puliti provate questo spray anti batterico, ne bastano 3-4 spruzzi. Passate poi delicatamente il pennello su un panno pulito e lasciate asciugare per pochi secondi; così che potete utilizzarlo immediatamente.
