Dal 22 ottobre al 22 novembre 2015, Milano sarà la capitale del Mediterraneo.
La Fabbrica del Vapore (via Procaccini 4), ospita MEDITERRANEA 17 YOUNG ARTISTS BIENNALE, evento internazionale multidisciplinare, promosso dalla associazione internazionale BJCEM e dal Comune di Milano, con il patrocinio della Fondazione Cariplo.
L’evento, inserito nel calendario di Expo in città, metterà in mostra una variegata moltitudine di forme di espressione, come le arti visive e le arti applicate (Architettura, Industrial Design, Web Design, Moda, Creazione digitale), la narrazione, lo spettacolo (Teatro, Danza, Performance Metropolitane), la musica, il cinema e la gastronomia.
In uno dei luoghi più rappresentativi della creatività milanese contemporanea, 300 creativi under 35, provenienti da 22 paesi dell’area EuroMediterranea, si daranno appuntamento per presentare i loro lavori, realizzati rispettando il tema di questa edizione: “No Food’s Land”, con la direzione artistica di Andrea Bruciati.
Mediterranea 17 Young Artists Biennale inaugurerà ufficialmente il 22 ottobre, con la presenza in città di tutti gli artisti selezionati, che per quattro giorni animeranno la Fabbrica del Vapore con esibizioni, performance, reading, concerti, showcooking e workshop. Oltre al programma generale, ci sarà una ricca offerta di eventi, workshop e residenze “OFF – Out Of Fabbrica”, a cura di Marco Trulli, un evento promosso da Arci con il sostegno del Comune di Milano e il patrocinio di Fondazione Cariplo.
La Biennale resterà poi aperta al pubblico fino al 22 novembre.

From October 22 to November 22, 2015, Milan will be the capital of the Mediterranean. The Fabbrica del Vapore (via Procaccini 4), hosts MEDITERRANEA 17 YOUNG ARTISTS BIENNIALE, a multidisciplinary international event, promoted by the International Association BJCEM and by the City of Milan, under the patronage of the Cariplo Foundation. The event is included in the calendar of “Expo in Città”, and will showcase a diverse multitude of forms of expression, such as visual arts and applied arts (architecture, industrial design, web design, fashion, digital art), storytelling, show (theater, dance), music, cinema and gastronomy. In one of the most representative building for contemporary creativity in Milan, 300 creatives under 35 from 22 countries of the Euro-Mediterranean area will present their artworks, which reflect the theme of this edition: “No Food’s Land”, under the artistic direction of Andrea Bruciati. Mediterranea 17 Young Artists Biennale officially opens on October 22, with the presence in the city of all the selected artists. For four days the Fabbrica del Vapore will be animated with exhibitions, performances, readings, concerts, showcooking and workshops. In addition to the general program, there will be a wide range of events, workshops and residences included in the ”OFF – Out Of Factory” program, curated by Marco Trulli, and promoted by Arci with the support of the City of Milan under the patronage of the Cariplo Foundation.
