‘Blackpainter’ Body painting video – stop motion technique

Ecco finalmente on-line un video che ho realizzato con il fotografo Dennison Bertram e la modella Pille Riin.

La mia idea di fondo è che nella società di oggi, ogni donna si trucca e si veste alla moda spesso seguendola in maniera fedele se non ‘addicted’; l’abito e il trucco pero’ possono prendere il sopravvento e trasformarci in una sorta di creature animalesche che vorrebbero tornare ad una bellezza più istintiva, primordiale ed intima. Ma questo non è possibile, ‘the show must go on’, l’evoluzione della moda avanza con l’evoluzione della specie.. ma il rischio è di essere avvelenati da questo meccanismo perverso di continua ricerca di miglioramento di sè stesse, e non sempre porta a risultati migliori. Forse nel 2010 vince la semplicità, in una giungla globale di confusione ed eccesso .

Circa cinque ore di lavoro dove ognuno di noi ha dato il meglio di sè in quanto a professionalità e pazienza. La bellissima modella Pille Riin, innanzitutto, che è rimasta per ore ed ore nella stessa posizione per non perdere l’effetto desiderato. Il bravo fotografo americano Dennison Bertram che ha preparato un set perfetto e ha scattato una quantità notevole di foto.

Ecco come è stato possibile tutto questo: ogni piccolo tratto di pennello mi allontanavo per uscire dall’inquadratura ed esclamavo ‘click’ a Den, che provvedeva ad immortalare il momento. Ogni qualvolta lo ritenessi necessario controllavo da monitor come proseguiva il lavoro con delle immediate pre-view del lavoro. Ore ed ore di body painting e make up hanno portato a questo bellissimo ed emozionante risultato di cui sono veramente soddisfatta.

Finally it’s online the video that I made with the photographer  Dennison Bertram and the model Pille Riin.

My idea is that in today’s society, every woman wears makeup and fashion with a faithful obsession, but the dress and makeup can turn us into a kind of  bestial creatures who would go to a beauty more instinctive, primal and intimate. But this is not possible, ‘the show must go on’, the evolution of fashion go on with the evolution of the species .. but the risk of being poisoned by this perverse mechanism of continuous research for improvement of themselves and do not always lead to better results. Perhaps in 2010 will win the simplicity in a global jungle of confusion and excess.

About five hours where everyone gave their best in terms of professionalism and patience. The beautiful model Pille Riin first of all, that keep for hours the same position to not lose the desired effect. The good American photographer Bertram Dennison who has prepared a perfect set and took a considerable amount of photos.

Here is how this  was possible: every little brush stroke , I left my place to go out of frame and exclaimed ‘click’ to Den, that provided to immortalize the moment. Whenever it deems it necessary to check to monitor as continued work with the immediate pre-view of work.Hours and hours of body painting and make-up led to this beautiful and exciting result of which I am truly satisfied.
