CAS 224 - SCS Challange

Questo e' il mio entry per il CAS Challange di Splitcoaststampers, bisognava incorporare nella card del "tearing" o "distressing". Io ho usato entrambe le tecniche. Ho fatto il background sporcando il mio tappetino con i distress, spruzzato l'acqua sopra, lasciato agire per qualche istante e poi ci ho appoggiato sopra il cartoncino acquarellabile fino ad ottenere lo sfondo che mi piaceva di piu'. Ho applicato la pasta modellabile sullo stencil a gabbia di pollo che adoro. Ho infine aggiunto dei timbri con delle macchie e distressato i bordi con le forbici. Per il sentiment ho semplicemente colorato un pezzo di cartoncino acquarellabile con i mister huey's. Ho spruzzato i due colori sul tappetino e poi applicato il colore sul cartoncino usando delle salviette da bimbo. Con l'archival ink nero ho stampato il sentiment, ho poi aggiunto un cuoricino con sopra del glossy accents e strappato poi i bordi del mio sentiment. Ho attaccato il tutto con due punti di puntatrice a lato e usando del nastro spessorato.  Ho aggiunto infine un po' di doodling.Anche questa card e' nata un po' per caso, ma sono contenta del risultato. Dopo ore e ore di assoluto vuoto mentre guardavo la mia amica Chiara lavorare

This is my entry for CAS Challange by Splitcoaststampers, We were supposed to make a card using the "tearing" or "distressing" technique, I used both. I made the background using distress ink and water, I added then some modeling paste using the TCW 6x6 Stencil and let it dry.I stamped over the background some splashes and I distressed the sides using my scissors.For the sentiment I used Mister Huey's color mist and baby wipes. I sprayed the color on my kraft sheet and applied the color with a baby wipe. I let it air dry then I stamped my sentiment (by Florileges) using Archival Ink Black. I stapled it to my background and I added the tiny heart with some glossy accents.I made this card with the "Let's see where this goes" kinda of idea, I like the result. I had dead brain mode on as I was looking my friend Chiara working on her project, till this idea crossed my mind!
