Dall'unione artistica tra Faris Badwan(cantante inglese degli Horrors) e la compositrice/soprano italo-canadese Rachel Zeffira nascono i Cat's Eyes.Il primo album omonimo è uscito il mese scorso incassando subito l'approvazione dei critici.Mentre ascolto le 10 tracce del cd,capisco il perchè.E' un lavoro che ci riporta agli anni '60 e '70,molto cinematico e dal grande fascino per l'alchimia che si è creata tra le due voci.Perfetta la scelta del primo singolo "Face In The Crowd",una potenziale hit se solo pompata a dovere.
