Chanel Eyeshadow quad 'Beiges Velours'

[IT] Lo scorso Natale ho avuto la fortuna di ricevere questo bellissimo quad di ombretti Chanel (grazie, sis!) che ho utilizzato non-stop da allora. Si tratta del numero 81 Beige Velours dalla sezione Les 4 Ombres di Chanel e contiene appunto quattro ombretti studiati per combinarsi perfettamente e creare diversi look.   [EN] I was lucky enough to be gifted this wonderful Chanel eyeshadow quad last Christmas (thanks, sis <3) and I've been using this since then. It's 81 Beiges Velours from Les 4 Ombres Chanel range and it contains four shades which, I have to say, go perfectly together -- well done, Chanel!   swatches: top left to bottom right
[IT] Hanno tutti un finish shimmer e sono davvero molto morbidi e facili da sfumare, senza perdere intensità; possono essere utilizzati sia asciutti sia bagnati, per ottenere una maggiore pigmentazione e durata. Beige Velours comprende un bel beige molto chiaro e luminoso, perfetto illuminante da usare sotto l'arcata sopraccigliare o nell'angolo interno dell'occhio; un color tortora/marrone freddo e shimmer anch'esso, che amo utilizzare come all-over-lid colour, su tutta la palpebra, oppure per scurire leggermente la piega dell'occhio; abbiamo poi un altro marrone più scuro e dai sottotoni più caldi, e, infine, un bel rosa tenue ma ben pigmentato, che utilizzo come colore di base sulla palpebra.
Nel complesso, devo ammettere che è davvero un piccolo gioiellino, perfetto per creare diversi look e ottimo alleato di viaggio. Detto questo, non mi sento però di giustificare il prezzo elevato degli ombretti Chanel, e della marca in generale. Lo consiglio comunque sicuramente se avete qualche soldino da parte o un regalo da farvi fare :)
  [EN] All four of them have a shimmery finish and they're all very soft and easy to blend; they can be used dry or wet, for a more intense pigmentation. Beiges Velours contains a very light beige shade, a perfect highlighting colour which I like to use in my inner corner of the eyes; a taupe/light brown shade with light shimmer,a very nice all-over colour or crease colour; a darker and warmer brown, which is agai a very nice shade to darken the outer corner or crease; last but not least, a beautiful soft pink with shimmer, which I rally like to use all over my lid, even alone, for a quick and nice everyday look. The quality is extremely good and the colours, as I said, go perfectly together and they definitely suit my complexion. Nonetheless, I don't think this justifies the crazy price tag of the quads -- that said, I'm sure I will use mine to death :)   xo Em.
