Come riciclare una cassetta di frutta - tutorial

Ciao ragazze,la creatività corre veloce e stiamo già pensando al prossimo Natale (in realtà stiamo lavorandoci da luglio anche se io sinceramente faccio sempre un po' fatica ad abituarmi a questi ritmi un po' sfasati)...Un'idea carina per le amanti dello Shabby, con attenzione piena all'Ecologia e al riciclo.
CASSETTA PORTAGIOCHI

Occorrente:Cassetta della fruttaDecolegno RusticoDecolegno Bianco TalcoSpugnetta per piatti con retro abrasivo Carta abrasiva a grana grossaSpugna foglia per stamping (reperibile presso i più forniti centri fai-da-te), timbri foglie per scrap e relativi inchiostri.Vernice opaca spray di finitura

Anche chi come me ama i progetti più rustici con il legno lasciato spesso quasi completamente grezzo, questa volta dovrà mettere mano alla carta abrasiva e lavorarvi molto.Meglio ancora chi avesse la possibilità di fare quest'operazione elettricamente.Ricordate che le cassette hanno spesso chiodi e punti grafici non fissati che potrebbero ferire i bambini e voi stesse durante la lavorazione, quindi di prima di procedere a qualsiasi operazione rimuovere chiodi o punti metallici sporgenti.
Realizzazione:
Lisciare il più possibile con la carta abrasiva a grana grossa (o elettricamente) tutta la cassetta, insistendo maggiormente nei punti di presa.Eliminare tutte le asperità da lati e spigoli, lasciando invece più grezzi i davanti delle liste, lisciando però molto bene le bordature.
Sul legno grezzo applicare direttamente il colore legno rustico in una sola passata dando così l'aspetto di una cassetta trattata ad impregnante.
Ad asciugatura avvenuta stendere il bianco talco in due mani attendendo asciugatura tra una mano e l'altra.Con l'aiuto di una spugnetta per i piatti inumidita (utilizzando la parte abrasiva) realizzare l'effetto Shabby su bordi e spigoli, a piacere anche sulle liste.I Decolegno sono vinilici quindi non si rende necessario l'utilizzo di paraffina e cere per ottenere l'effetto Shabby.
A questo punto utilizzando la spugna-foglia e/o i timbri scrap realizzare le decorazioni.
Decorazione con spugna foglia:intingere la spugna nel colore legno rustico, scaricare su carta assorbente e "timbrare" la cassetta.A seconda di quanto colore rimarrà sulla spugna si realizzerà automaticamente l'effetto Shabby.
Decorazione con timbri:"Sporcare" il timbro nell'apposito tampone (del colore scelto) e timbrare la cassetta.
Terminare il progetto con due mani di vernice Spray opaca.Buon lavoro!!!
