[Con il Nastro Rosa] China Glaze Bottom Up

Buongiorno fanciulle all'ascolto. Come ogni anno, Ottobre è il mese dedicato alla prevenzione del tumore al seno, malattia infida dalla quale si può guarire. Grazie alla prevenzione e alla diagnosi precoce. Ed è per questo che le mie compagnucce ed io abbiamo deciso di vestire di rosa le nostre unghiette. Per tutto il mese di Ottobre, vi mostreremo uno smalto o una nail art declinata nel colore più femminile che c'è. Per una volta, per un giusta causa, si può fare, no?
Hi there, ladies! October is the month of breast cancer awareness. Breast cancer is an awfull desease, but the good news is that we can defeat it, whit early diagnosis. For this reason, my friends and I  had the idea to show you one pink nail polish. From 1 to 31 October, each of us will show a polish or a nail art in the most feminine color there is. 

China Glaze Bottoms Up è un neon rosa che fa parte della collezione Sunsationals dell'estate 2013, che ho usato come base per le nailart del TriPolishChallenge di Settembre (qui, qui, qui e ancora qui). Qui lo vedete steso su una mano di OPI My Boyfriend scales walls, due passate. Asciuga in fretta, è molto molto molto GIRLY, se capite cosa intendo (mi sembrava di essere diventata Jem. Mancavano solo le Holograms e poi ero a cavallo!), ma è difficilissimo da fotografare. Ho cercato di non far suicidare la macchina fotografica e di mostrarvi il colore nel modo più accurato possibile. Non amo molto il rosa, ma ammetto che quest'estate ho ceduto al fascino femminile e sfacciato di questo colore. Ma solo d'estate, però. I colori che ho adocchiato per la prossima stagione sono i soliti, blu, verde e argento.
China Glaze Bottoms Up is a pink neon of Sunsetionals Collection (summer 2013), that I used as base in TriPolishChallenge's nailarts (as you can see here, here, here and here). There is 3 layers, the first one is OPI my boyfriend scales walls. It dry very fast, it's much, much, much GIRLY, if you know what I mean (It's seemed to me to have become Jem. Only thing missing was the Holograms and  pink starshape earrings!), but this colour is very hard to photograph. I tried to show you the color as accurately as possible, and my camera is still crying.
I don't like pink, but I must confess (that my loneliness is killing me nooooowww... don't you know I still believeeeee... ♪) that this summer  I fallen under the spell of this feminine and bold color. But only on summer. The colors I want for this season are my ordinary choices: blue, green and silver. I'm not goin' banana, I swear!

Ho lavorato per quasi dieci anni in uno studio ginecologico e una delle poche cose che ho imparato è che la dagnosi precoce è l'unica arma che noi donne abbiamo per debellare quest'orribile malattia. Ricordatevi di fare un'ecografia ogni anno, e la mammografia ogni due anni dopo i quarant'anni, ma la prima arma di prevenzione che abbiamo è l'autopalpazione. Se sentite qualcosa, qualsiasi cosa, rivolgetevi al vostro ginecologo. Con la salute non si scherza. Intesi?

Before saying goodbye, and wish you a good week, I would like to remind you of something important: the early diagnosis saves lives. I worked for almost ten years in a gynecological clinic and one of the few things I've learned is that early diagnosis is the only weapon that womens have to defeat this horrible disease. Remember to do an ultrasound every year, and a mammogram every two years after the age of forty, but the first weapon we have is the self-examination. If you feel something, anything, ask your gynecologist. Do not mess with your health. Understood?
