Il viaggio prosegue! Dopo Kassiopi ci siamo spostati sulle coste settentrionali di Corfù fino a Sidari, uno dei posti più singolari che abbia mai visto!
La conformazione delle rocce è notevolmente diversa rispetto a quella degli altri scogli, sono piatti ed alti, e le stratificazioni di argilla ed altri tipi di roccia conferiscono a tutto l'ambiente un'aspetto davvero paticolare, che ricorda un pò quello del Gran Canyon.
Il bello è che questo luogo, proprio grazie a questa sua caratteristica, è un vero e proprio parco divertimenti naturale! Oltre al fatto che è piuttosto facile arrampicarsi senza farsi troppo male per tuffarsi un pò ovunque, queste rocce, non essendo troppo dure, sono state scavate dal mare a formare canali e grotte naturali di ogni tipo da cui entrare ed uscire a piacimento (anche se a dire il vero sarebbe anche vietato attraversare le scogliere nelle grotte, ma mi sono accorta del cartello solo alla fine... Quindi è evidente che nessuno ti dice niente se lo fai! ;P), inutile dire che mi sono divertita da matti lì! ^^
L'unico neo è che l'acqua, causa delle rocce argillose è un pò meno limpida dove è bassa e per vedere bene i pesci bisogna nuotare un pò al largo, ma ne vale assolutamente la pena, ce ne sono tantissimi!
Inoltre, sempre lì a Sidari, c'è una caletta molto particolare la cui forma ricorda un cuore, chiamata "Canal d'Amour", in cui si dice che chi ci si fa il bagno troverà l'anima gemella e sarà felice per tutta la vita: io naturalmente l'ho fatto, adesso vediamo se funziona! Incaso contrario... dovrò tornare a riprovarci! ;P
The journey continues! After Kassiopi we moved up to the north coast of Corfu until we arrived to Sidari, one of the most unique places I've ever seen!
The shape of the rocks there is considerably different from the other: they are flat and high, and the layers of clay and other rock types give the whole place an aspect really peculiar, that's a little reminiscent of the Grand Canyon.
The beauty is that this place, thanks to its characteristics, it is a true amusement park, all natural! Besides the fact that it is quite easy to climb to dive into the sea almost everywhere, these rocks, not being too harsh, have been excavated from the sea to form natural caves and channels of all types in which you can enter and exit at your will (although to tell the truth would also be forbidden to cross the cliffs through the caves, but I noticed the sign only at the end ... So it is clear that no one tells you anything if you do it!, P).
The only drawback is that the water, because of the clay rocks is a little less clear were is low and to see good the fishes you must swim a little off, but it is absolutely worth it, there are so many!
In addition, always there in Sidari, there is a very special cove whose shape resembles a heart, called "Canal d'Amour", which they say that those who bathe in find a soul mate and will be happy for the whole life: I course I did it, now let's see if it works! In case contrary ... I'll have to go back to try again! ; P
