Cornetteria San Lorenzo è una certezza antica nel quartiere universitario omonimo che abbiamo già imparato ad apprezzare grazie alla Creperia e alla pizza dei fratelli Damiani.Cornetti di tutti i tipi e per tutti i gusti: farciti o meno, maritozzi con la panna, bombe alla crema e al cioccolato, ciavattoni, occhi di bue, pasticceria e squisite pizzette. Le pizzette sono fragranti, dai bordi importanti e sono golose anzichenò. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo! Noterete un capannello di gente a chiacchierare e a "ciancicare" le leccornie a tutte le ore ma specie superata la mezzanotte (mi raccomando poco casino fuori dal locale).Non possiamo che raccomandarvi di fare una scorta per la colazione post nottata ma anche di provare qualche bontà seduta stante per saggiarne la freschezza. La tradizione romana del cornettaro notturno ha nella Cornetteria San Lorenzo un fiero e degno rappresentante. A questo profluvio di zuccheri e piacevolezze da forno abbiniamo la stupefacente bellezza delle note  di Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic cariche di brio ma allo stesso di quel timbro caldo che Sting ha saputo modulare a guisa di pizzetta calda.

It is now universally known that we are particularly devoted to an area - San Lorenzo, the young, funky, freaky district squashed between Stazione Termini and the University. Yes, we warmly recommend you to go, at least for a stroll, at least to say, yeah, I've been there. And indeed, we are mentioning plenty of reasons to go. First, it was pizza: Fratelli Damiani. Then, it was Creperia. 
And now? We're again here for another big fave, the midnight-snack-dealer Cornetteria San Lorenzo, a sweet factory unmissable for whoever has a sweet tooth (like we have). Here you can find the best of what you can get as a dolce in Rome: all of them are well displayed in front of you, each called with its poetic name such as occhio di bue, ciavattone, maritozzo. The best of Roman, erm, patisserie: miles away from being refined and elegant, the philosophy here is: WE EAT. And empty stomachs are craving to be filled. Genuinity and tradition are the motto, and we must admit that they offer quality products at a highly reasonable price. And what about the variety? They have it, too. You may even have pizza, if you like! So, let's spoil yourself. Just an advice whenever you decide to come here: be hungry!Your music sound ? a touch of Police
