Immaginate un piccolo chiosco, costruito con tanto amore e pieno zeppo di prodotti tipici e buonissimi: The Good Heart é una piccola chicca che vi consiglio se state per andare a Santorini.
Dopo aver ammirato il panorama dal faro siamo tornati in sella al nostro quad, direzione Kamari, e sulla strada che da Faros porta ad Akrotiri, non ho potuto fare a meno di fermarmi in questo piccolo negozio a gestione familiare che già all’andata aveva catturato la mia attenzione.
Anna, la proprietaria dagli occhi azzurrissimi, ci accoglie con un caldo e caloroso Kalimera! (Buongiorno! in greco) e con il sorriso sulle labbra ci invita a sederci portandoci un vassoio di assaggi gentilmente offerto e tutto homemade: assaggi di vini (Visanto, Nyhteri, Brusca), pomodorini essiccati, capperi, olive e formaggio avvolti nelle foglie di vite e frutta secca con il miele. Gustiamo il tutto avvolti in quest’atmosfera magica, ammirando il panorama e con in sottofondo la musica greca: era tutto talmente invitante e buono che non ho nemmeno scattato una foto :(
Prima di andare però, da buona frutta-dipendente, faccio il pieno e riempiamo due sacchetti con delle ciliegie buonissime, delle pesche noci grandi e succose e due banane: vi giuro che era tantissimo che non mangiavo della frutta così buona!
Se quindi siete da queste parti non perdetevi The Good Heart e lasciatevi incantare dagli occhi di Anna, che vi accoglierà con il suo sorriso e i suoi ottimi prodotti.

Imagine a small kiosk, built with love and full of homemade and delicious products: The Good Heart is a small gem that I recommend if you’re going to Santorini.
After admiring the view from the lighthouse we went back to our quad, ready to go to Kamari, and on the road that leads Faros to Akrotiri we take a rest at this small family-run shop.
Anna, the blue eyes owner, greets us with a warm and welcoming Kalimera! (Good morning in greek) and with her beautiful smile she offers a tray of homemade samples: wine tasting (Visanto, Nyhteri, Brusca), dried tomatoes, capers, olives and cheese wrapped in vine leaves and dried fruit with honey. We enjoyed everything, all wrapped up in this magic atmosphere, admiring the view and with the greek music in the background: everything was so inviting and good that I didn’t even take a picture :(
Before leaving, as a good fruit-addiccted, we filled two bags of delicious cherries, large and juicy peaches and two bananas: so good!
So, if you’re in Santorini, don’t miss The Good Heart and let yourself enchanted by Anna’s eyes who will welcome you with his smile and his great products.
