Easter looks

Anche se sono passati i tempi in cui era praticamente obbligatorio indossare gonna, cappellino e blusa in pizzo per la Domenica di Pasqua,restare fedeli a qualche elemento della tradizione rimane una scelta oculata; perciò fate attenzione che i vostri abiti siano freschi e ben stirati e gli accessori puliti. Anche se non siete particolarmente religiose, il look ideale per festeggiare la Pasqua dovrebbe avere il giusto equilibrio tra il tradizionale look che si indosserebbe per la funzione in chiesa ed il proprio stile personale.

1. Se non sapete proprio che pesci prendere, consultatevi con amici e parenti per stabilire quale sia il tipo di abbigliamento più adatto per il tipo di festa a cui dovrete perender parte, specialmente se dovrete partecipare ad un pranzo in grande in un'hotel o al ristorante.
2. Tenete in considerazione la comodità. Se una vostra amica vi dice che nella sua famiglia si indossano sempre i jeans per il pranzo con i parenti ma voi vi sentireste a disagio ad essere così poco formali, seguite il vostro istinto, ma senza esagerare .
3. Lasciate che il vostro outfit sottolinei l'occasione di festa. Pasqua è l'occasione per mettere quei pantaloni di lino, quella gonna a fiori, o quelle scarpe di vernice che si ha sempre l'impressione siano "troppo" o "troppo poco". Sfruttate la possibilità di indossare i capi che raramente avete la possibilità di sfoggiare.
4. Evitare di indossare bluse troppo scollate, gonne troppo corte e vestiti troppo estivi. Ok, l'entusiasmo primaverile, ma evitate di vestirvi come se facessero 30°!
5. Infine scegliete accessori (gioielli, sciarpe e borse), che leghino il vostro outfit senza essere troppo appariscenti o vistosi.

Even if gone are the days of three-piece suits, fancy bonnets and frilly lace dresses for Easter Sunday. Still, an element of tradition remains as churchgoers put on freshly pressed dresses and starched trousers for spring church services, recognizing the beginning of a new season and the celebration of new life. Consider meshing church tradition with your own personal style as you put together your Sunday best this Easter. ·1 Check with friends or family to find out what type of dress is appropriate for the lunch you'll be attending, especially if will be new people to attend it and you are unfamiliar with their customs.
·2 Decide what you're most comfortable wearing. If your friend tells you that his family always wears jeans to Easter lunch but you feel it is important to be more formal, go with your instincts.

Let your outfit emphasize the celebratory occasion. Easter is a great time to wear those freshly-starched linen pants, floral skirts, or patent leather shoes you bought at a spring sale. Take advantage of the opportunity to don your lavish duds, especially if it is rare that you have the opportunity to dress up.
·4 Avoid wearing low-cut shirts, short skirts and summer clothing. Modesty is typically the best policy for family holidays.
·5 Select accessories (jewelry, scarves and ties) that tie your outfit together without being too flashy or gaudy.
