Elogio della lentezza, e di Tom Ford

Tom Ford è un genio. Proprio ieri ha presentato la sua seconda collezione donna. E come l' ha fatto? In segreto. Nel pieno centro di Londra, alla sfilata di Ford, infatti, erano presenti solo pochi giornalisti. Nessun fotografo, nè tantomeno, blogger. Le foto, infatti, saranno visibili solo da quest' estate.
Lo stilista americano va di sicuro in controntendenza, considerando che la sfilata di ieri di Burberry Prorsum veniva trasmessa sui maxischermi a Piccadilly. Ma perchè?
Tom Ford is a genius. Yesterday, in London, there was his second women runway. But it wasn't a normal one. It was without any photographer nor blogger. In fact we won't have any photo till this summer: only a few journalist saw it. The American stylist is surely offbeat: just consider that yesterday Burberry Prorsum show was broadcast on the screens of Piccadilly circus. But why he does so?
«Voglio tornare all’eccitazione degli ani Sessanta, quando non vedevi l’ora di vedere i nuovi vestiti e metterteli addosso. Tutto questo si è perso». Eccovi la risposta del diretto interessato. Insomma, Ford è contrario alla democratizzazione della moda. Antipatico? Bhe, pur essendo anche io un blogger, non gli posso dare tutti i torti. La moda per tutti ha portato a un mezzo schifo, diciamocelo: braccialetti di Tiffany (ma passi), passi il fatto che il bauletto di Vuitton ha fatto colpo su più donne che Clooney, ma quando vedo il cappellino di Gucci, o il borsello della stessa marca, che presumo un tempo fosse seria, mi viene da dire: Oh, cazzo! E Maristel (o come si scrive!) Polanko con la Birkin? Ma siamo matti? Quindi, ode a Tom Ford. (Anche se devo dire che queste cose succedono soprattutto in Italia. Già da Milano in su se ne vede di meno, di ' sta porcheria).
"I want to come back to the excitation of the '60s, where you couldn't wait to see the new dresses and put them on. All this got lost". Here you are his answer. We can say Tom is against the democratization of fashion. Disagreeable? Well, also if I' m a fashion blogger, I agree with him.
Fashion for all gave orrible results: Tiffany bracelets (but I can stand this), LV speedy everywhere: women love it more than Clooney! But the worst are, for example, the Gucci hat, or the man shoulder bag of the same brande, that once upon a time was serious and classy. And what should I say when I see Maristhel Polanko (a presumed Berlusconi escort, surely an escort), carrying an Hermès Birkin!? "Luckily" I see that this is an Italian only phenomenon, and going up form Milan it becomes less diffused. But, however, Ode to Tom Ford.
