Almost two years have passed since our first trip together. Without knowing the wind drove us to another incredible adventure. It blew and blew operating the aircraft that carried us from London to Paris in just over an hour.
Getting off the plane in the airport of Charles de Gaulle the good weather surprised us, clear skies gave us a wonderful day (pretty good considering that in England we were accustomed to the usual gray sky ..). So we went to Chatelet tube station in downtown Paris to fill the belly with a typical pain au chocolat and croissants. Immediately after charging the batteries we improvised in the streets of Paris to meet with the first building of interest, the church of Saint Eustache, surrounded by a manicured garden and an unusual fountain.

A short walk brought us to the Hotel Louvre Museum. How sad! We postpone our visit as it is closed on Tuesdays. From there onward moved the eclectic neighborhood of Montmartre, where we saw the entrance of the famous building Moulin Rouge.

We climbed to one of the many streets that showed the correct path to the beautiful Basilica of the Sacred Heart. And there it was, majestic, on top of a hill which we use to approach the building.

There are two alternatives to reach the summit: the cable car located on the left near the stairs or, for us the prettiest stroll in the park where the curves of the environment created by the musicians and street performers was worthy of a relaxed way. But the spectacle and beauty of this place is not finished. Once at the top of the mountain, a beautiful view of the city was waiting for us!
We woke up from a nap in the little hostel where we were staying, and already arrived the afternoon. We had to hurry, there was still much to be admired! Quickly we teleported to the famous Champs-Elysées, in the Place de la Concorde. In the center of this fountain with majestic golden tones accompanied a large Egyptian obelisk. The latter is called the Obelisk of Luxor, an Egyptian Mehemet Ali gave the worth in 1830.

A long walk brings us to the most famous area of Champs Elysees, where the largest and most prestigious shops in Paris are located in these parts. From here you can already admire the majesty of the Arc de Triomphe, built by Napoleon in honor of his invincible army. At night everything is lit and you can also climb up to the stage than to admire a precious view of the Champs Elysees to the Place de la Concorde. Under the Arch you can see the eternal flame and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Stefano was eager to see the Eiffel Tower, however, Olga insisted in bringing him to another place, without telling him that from that point the view of the Tower at night will be spectacular. We walked up from the Arch of Triumph to Trocadero by the Avenue Kleber making a short stop to get some pizza. The surprise was near, just turning the corner and there was one of the most beautiful views we had ever seen. With pizza in hand, and surrounded by lots of people (street vendors, tourists and Parisians) looked for a place among the stairs in order to enjoy the dinner and the spectacle of lights that can be seen every night at every hour. The Tour Eiffel from Trocadero
A stroll through the gardens of the Trocadero, among beautiful fountains and lots of lights will be our last day's walk.
And a new awakening ... Paris was waiting for us and streets full of surprises to discover. First, a stop in baguette shop to fill the backpacks with the necessary food for the day. Lettuce, eggs, tuna, chicken ... Everything was delicious! Soon we were in the Park of Tullerìas. Through the gardens and the small Arc du Triomphe Paris-Carusel we saw the imposing Musée du Louvre, with its famous glass pyramid built in the central part of the building.

The museum was of immense size and is divided into different sections based on style or era in which the works were realized. Although our visit lasted a long morning and a part of the early afternoon, so we saw only a few things in the museum such as the Egyptian side, the sculptures of the Roman era, some statues of African art, the famous faces of Easter Island and a large selection of paintings, not forgetting of course the most emblematic of the work, the Mona Lisa.
So we opted to take another stroll through the city. Near the museum we went to the Hard Rock Cafe, and after we moved to the Cathedral of Notre Dame, where we encountered difficulties to do a photo provided by passersby, and the situation made us laugh enough, hahaha!
Notre Dame Cathedral
A few minutes we entered the Latin Quarter, in which the place make an environment gives a 360 ° turn converted into a spectacle of color, light and different cultures. The waiters of the restaurant go up the hunt for customers by offering all kinds of offers and 'promotions' (but do not believe everything they say ...). There is plenty of choice for all tastes and wallets, we choose an Italian restaurant, as Stefano felt nostalgia for his homeland :)To end the day we moved back to the area of Montmartre, which we define as the banned district... At night the erotic shops and private clubs enact their fluorescent colors to attract consumers. But without a doubt the best show is the recognized world famous Moulin Rouge, burlesque style show.
Before returning to the hostel, we stopped at a stall in the area to enjoy the classic crepe with Nutella. By chance we discovered that the owner of the shop was Spanish :)The last day in Paris we dedicated solely in visiting the Eiffel Tower and surroundings. We started with a full breakfast by the river Seine. The Champ de Mars were illuminated for the radiant sun that would accompany the rest of the trip.
So we bought the entrance to the tower. An elevator took us to the second level in which we enjoy the beautiful landscapes. But the visit did not end there: another small elevator took us to the highest part of the building. Here are the wax figures of the architect Gustave Eiffel and his wife.

We leave you with these beautiful photos taken from the third level of the Eiffel Tower waiting for the next adventure ...
