Surprise! Finally, we reveal the last step of The Long Bar Trip. From Brussels by train, and the first class, we arrived at our destination when the controller woke up us asking for the tickets, to send the economy class section, heheh! For that we were thinking that there were few people in that car!
We finished the trip in Amsterdam Central Station. We were in the final part of our little tour that would end two days and one night of madness in this famous city. Upon our arrival, however, the sun was shining in the sky and so we decide to take the opportunity to begin to explore the narrow streets of this fabulous city. As many of you already know, Amsterdam is below sea level and the roads are mixed with the channels that run throughout the capital. We confirmed once all the typical things for which this city is known. Full of life and young people who wander from side to side, as most already know, by bicycle.
Gradually advancing through the streets we began to discover the famous coffee shops where you can smoke marijuana legally. Wandering through the great outdoors pedestrian arrived at the Dam Square, one of the most emblematic of the city, where we met the National Monument built in honor of the Dutch soldiers who fought in World War II, an obelisk located in the middle of the square.

We continued walking in the Rokin street until arriving at another location centric, where you can find one of the most famous tulip’s market of the city. We stopped a moment to fill our stomachs and give signs of life for our families...

Leaving the fast food store where we had dinner, the night took possession of the city. Back into the labyrinthine streets we found the Hard Rock Cafe, but since it was already closed we decide to continue on our path. Driven by the frenzy of the Amsterdam’s festival we walked through the areas of pubs and discos.
Having nothing better to do, since we had not reserved any hostel, we take a walk around the different bars. A dance there, a beer there and suddenly we were already arrived in the early hours of the morning. Intrigued, and who is not, to know the famous Red Light, which gave a look at this area of the city. We could not take pictures to show you, because in this site is prohibited.
We returned to the less 'sexy' part of the city, discovering many trees full of stuffed animals hanging from the branches. We knew not why, so if anyone knows the answer to this 'X-Files' it would be very welcome!
The light dawned again, while we were in front of the Heineken Museum in the middle of the road Stadhouderskade.

We passed through various channels and we realize that the tiredness already pointed out. The streets were empty in this part of town, and, on Sunday morning, while all the inhabitants were resting in their homes, we were visiting the Anne Frank Museum from the outside.
Our stomachs begging for a huge breakfast, but still the stores were closed, and resting on a bench waiting for the hour of opening our eyes closed. The alarm rang at once, unlike in our homes is a clock board, in this case was the sound of the sirens of the police car that passed from there to warn us that we could not sleep on the streets ... Ups !
Finally, recharging our forces and re-move our legs tired, because it lacked a few hours to our journey home. Now the Hard Rock Cafe was opened. We entered to photograph its interior and some of the objects that were in that place, such as guitars from famous artists and the mask of the movie musical The Wall by Pink Floyd.
We could not leave town without visiting one of those coffee shops, and then we entered into and ask for any advice from the seller, thus proving one of their specialties ...
We said good-bye to Amsterdam to move towards the Dutch coast and take nothing less than a giant ship that would take us to England. Upon arrival we realized that the trucks seemed toys in comparison! A security check was waiting at the boarding gate. So we went to the door of the ship contemplating his greatness. And we searched for a place to saw for the last time Holland.
Among the exciting start of our means of transport fatigue was noted. We lay under the covers, and under the sun we enjoyed a well deserved Spanish siesta. A real worthwhile experience that cost us only 30 €.
And, when wake up, this strange and premature feeling of nostalgia that invades our bodies when we move away from the places you visit from a trip. And from that moment, a memory imprinted our hearts filling of emotions that today we write in our little travel guide…
