Dopo molto tempo, eccomi finalmente con un nuovo post sul blog ^^ Oggi voglio parlarvi di Faby, il nuovo brand italiano di smalti e trattamenti per unghie prodotto da Fabyline.
Faby è stata ufficialmente presentata durante il Cosmoprof di quest'anno!Hello my dear friends,
I haven't written an english post in a while, but now I'm here to present you a new nail polish brand made in Italy, FABY, which has officially been presented at Cosmoprof Bologna 2013.

Faby vanta una gamma permanente di oltre 160 colori, una linea per uomo e collezioni stagionali (attualmente potete trovare la Renaissance, collezione Primavera-Estate 2013). I prodotti Faby non contengono Formaldehyde, DBP e Toluene.
Faby has a permanent range of more than 160 colors, a collection "for him" and seasonal collections (right now you can find the Spring-Summer collection, Renaissance).

Proprio al Cosmoprof ho avuto occasione di ricevere in prova alcuni di questi smalti e devo dire che mi hanno piacevolmente colpita per texture e facilità di stesura, un po' meno per la durata.

Right during Cosmoprof, I've received three Faby nail polishes as a press sample and I'm really pleased by their texture and easy of use; I'm not in love with their longevity.

Il packaging degli smalti Faby ricorda molto quello degli Opi, specialmente nel tappo a forma di cono. Il pennello è piuttosto grande, ma più corto rispetto al pro wide brush degli smalti Opi.
Faby's packaging looks like Opi's packaging, mostly because of the cone cap. The brush is quite big but not as long as the Opi's pro wide brush.

Texture: come vi ho anticipato, sono compiaciuta della texture di questi smalti! Shake shake shake è facile da applicare, la stesura è uniforme e la texture non è troppo densa né troppo liquida.I really like the texture of this nail polish, it applies well, it's not sticky nor liquid.Pigmentation: ha una buona pigmentazione, sono sufficienti due passate.It has a good pigmentation, you need two coat for full coverage.Longevity: 4/5 giorni, nella media4/5 days, averageSide Notes: tra i tre è indubbiamente il mio preferito! Adoro il colore, la texture è ottima ed è quello con la durata migliore.It's my favorite! It's a lovely color, it has a great texture and the better longevity of the group.Blog Rating: 4/5

FABY WINTER GARDEN

Color: verde ottanio scuro con shimmer tono su tonodark blue-green with shimmer
Finish: frost
Texture: anche in questo caso la texture è ottima, né liquida né appiccicosa, lo smalto si stende bene senza problemi.The texture is great, nor liquid nor sticky, Winter Garden applies well with no problems.
Pigmentation: lo smalto ha un'ottima coprenza anche con una sola passata!it's a one coater!
Longevity: la durata purtroppo non è delle migliori, 3 giornithe longevity is quite low, only three days.
Dupes: è il dupe quasi perfetto dello smalto Viridian di Illamasqua! Rispetto a Viridian è leggermente più blu. Altro smalto simile è Dive Bar di Essie il quale però è più blu e presenta un leggero duochrome sul viola.It's the almast perfect dupe for Illamasqua Viridian! The latter is a little bit greener. Also Esiie's Dive Bar is similar, but bluer and with a purple duochrome.

Texture: in questo caso la texture è più liquida! Questo smalto necessita qualche attenzione in più.Here the texture is quite liquid so you have to be careful when you apply it.
Pigmentation: a causa della texture liquida, lo smalto è di conseguenza meno coprente! Servono tre passate per ottenere una coprenza totale.Since the texture is liquid, this nail polish is quite sheer and you need three coats to obtain full coverage.
Longevity: leggermente sotto la media, 3/4 giornilongevity is a little bit below average, 3/4 days
