I am currently studying photography, for the first time in my life. I am feeling pretty weird with that. I am not about concept at all, I am more about aesthetic and instinct, thus my next year is going to be a very big challenge, but full of exciting news, hopefully.Al momento sto studiando fotografia, per la prima volta nella mia vita. Questa cosa mi fa sentire strana. Non mi interesso affatto del concept, mi concentro di più sull’estetica e sull’istinto, perciò il mio prossimo anno sarà una grande sfida, speriamo piena di notizie emozionanti.
One week ago i've been asked to introduce myself with a self portrait projected on a screen in front of 30 strangers. I had no idea how to deal with that. I started sweating, shaking and coughing. It was horrible. I was staring at my picture in the big screen and I wanted to say more about that, but of course i couldn't. It is not easy to talk about yourself to strangers but it may be easy to write it.
Una settimana fa mi è stato chiesto di introdurmi con un autoritratto proiettato su uno schermo davanti a 30 persone. Non avevo idea di come affrontare questa situazione. Fissavo la mia foto sul grande schermo e avrei voluto dire dell’altro a riguardo, ma ovviamente non potevo. Non è facile parlare di sé stessi davanti a degli sconosciuti ma forse è facile scriverne.
The picture is part of my in progress new series called "new generation self portraits" - all the pictures are taken with Photo Booth and they are really different from my very first self portraits. I used to have short and black hair for ages, now it is long and lighter. The wind and the light on it are something really new for me. I like changing and i like feeling different, sometimes. Photography is about feelings, the old and new ones - it's about people, and you.
La fotografia è parte della mia nuova serie in fase di creazione chiamata “Autoritratti di nuova generazione” - tutte le fotografie sono scattate con Photo Booth e sono davvero diverse dai miei primissimi autoritratti. Ho avuto per molto tempo i capelli corti e neri, ora sono lunghi e più chiari. Il vento e la luce su di questi sono qualcosa di molto nuovo per me.
