La sorte di moltissimi cani e gatti che vivono in Cina e in Corea è spesso tragica se non degna di un film horror. Come saprete in questi paesi tanto industrializzati quanto incivili, si mangia tranquillamente la carne di queste povere bestie che ovviamente sono animali domestici. Ebbene cinesi e coreani non esitano assolutamente a bollire vivi cani e gatti in un unico pentolone provocando loro sofferenze atroci. Poiché i loro strazianti guaiti non cesseranno questa pratica barbara si è attivata una petizione (firma QUI) con lo scopo di mettere fine a questo schifo. Chiunque di voi ami gli animali o semplicementesi sia indignato o inorridito di fronte a queste immagini può partecipare. Come? Di seguito vi fornirò una lista di indirizzi email e il testo di una lettera in inglese in cui si chiede di smetterla con queste pratiche. Vi basta incollare nel corpo di una mail questo testo e inviarla a uno o più indirizzi. Ci vorrà solo un minuto ma sarà un minuto speso per salvare le vite di tante innocenti creature.

STOP COOKING LIVE ANIMALS!!
Putting a dog alive, or any animal, in boiling water, or a hot oven is not only blatantly wrong, without further explanation---but if one is necessary it is TORTURE.
The 'reason' that is given for cooking animals alive is that they simply taste better after their bodies are adrenaline-soaked with fear and pain. 'Taste' is never an excuse for unspeakable cruelty, nor is 'culture' an excuse.
China is making so many strides to become a first world country, but with all due respect, with this kind of accepted culinary method, China AND Korea will be looked upon as backward nations by the rest of the civilized world (one foot in the 21st century and one foot in a primitive age).
Any animal placed in boiling water or cooked, while still alive, in any manner is obviously terrified, in unimaginable pain, despair and doomed to a slow and lingering death.
Animals in the food chain should, at the very least, be given the most humane death possible.

According to “research”, humans have a highly developed brain and are capable of abstract reasoning, introspection, problem solving and language - humans are noted for their desire to understand and influence their environment, (what a joke), seeking to explain and manipulate phenomena through science, philosophy(values/way of life/thinking), mythology(tradition) and religion(belief) - portrayed as having high-level thought ……. sapience (wisdom), rationality and self-awareness are considered to be defining features of what constitutes a “person”. WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH! I wonder how they got to this conclusion……. If “humans” were like this, there would’ve been NO cruelty to animals, NO global warming issues, No animal extinction, etc . We all have a role to play in positively changing the world in which we live. We each hold within ourselves unique qualities that we brought into this world….these qualities help us see the sole purpose of our existence. In order to live this purpose and make our contribution, we have to be our best selves and that means we have to protect, nurture, preserve, cherish, cultivate, and recognize the value of our animals and our earth. Why should animals suffer because of "human’s" GREED, FETTISH FOR “STRANGE” FOOD, PLEASURE, AND SADISTIC BEHAVIOUR AND…… TEST OBJECTS,? If people don’t have compassion for animals - THEY ARE NOT WORTHY TO BE CALLED HUMANS!!! If anyone has seen the horrific and unwatchable footage of the Chinese cat and dog trade - animals skinned alive - then they could not possibly argue in favour of China as a caring nation. There are NO animal protection laws in China and this results in the worst animal abuse and cruelty on the planet. It is indefensible.WHAT IS IT WITH THESE ASIAN AND AFRICAN "PEOPLE"?
