Fukiko takase, dancing with thom yorke

Giapponese, 28 anni, sulle punte da quando ne aveva 2, Fukiko Takase è la fortunata danzatrice che accompagna con i suoi sinuosi e ipnotici movimenti Thom York in "Ingenue", il primo video estratto da "Amok", il primo album (in streaming qui) degli Atoms For Peace, la superband composta dal frontman dei Radiohead più Nigel Godrich, Flea dei Red Hot Chili Peppers, il batterista Joey Waronker e il percussionista Mauro Refosco. Fukiko è cresciuta in Giappone dove ha fatto la ballerina freelance e si è trasferita in Europa dopo aver vinto due diverse borse di studio alla Codarts Rotterdam Dance Academy e alla London Contemporary Dance School. Da adesso la sua vita cambierà di sicuro nuovamente. Il video è stato diretto da Garth Jennings (il regista di Guida galattica per autostoppisti) mentre le coreografie sono state ideate da Wayne McGregor, lo stesso coreografo del video “Lotus Flower” dei Radiohead.

Fukiko grew up in Japan, where he did freelance dancer and moved to Europe after winning two scholarships at Codarts Rotterdam Dance Academy and the London Contemporary Dance School. From now on her life will change again for sure.The video was directed by Garth Jennings (director of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) while the choreography was created by Wayne McGregor, the choreographer of the video "Lotus Flower" by Radiohead.
