Ci sono zone d’Italia che non ho mai preso in considerazione per preconcetti o consigli sbagliati. Il bello del mio mestiere, però, è quello di avere la possibilità di ravvedersi e scoprire luoghi inaspettatamente interessanti.
La parte trentina del lago di Garda è uno di quei posti che, nella mia testa, veniva frequentata solamente da persone anziane. Invece, ho scoperto che la zona offre panorami suggestivi, fatti di alti monti, valli strette, spazi dall’ampio respiro, sport acquatici e luoghi votati al benessere, come il Garda Termae.
La struttura è nata dal desiderio di un uomo di costruire qualcosa di bello che lasciasse il segno e che fosse di beneficio per le persone. E’ situata sulle sponde del lago, abbracciata dalle belle montagne circostanti. Sfrutta i benefici dell’acqua e si articola tra piscine, sale riservate, cabine per i trattamenti, vasche e saune.
Il centro, moderno nell’architettura e nei servizi offerti, è realizzato in pietra, legno e acciaio, per garantire l’igiene della piscina grande, per metà all’esterno.
La vasca di acqua salina, interamente all’aperto, è sulla terrazza adiacente al bar e offre benefici per la pelle e per la muscolatura, anche grazie ai vigorosi getti idromassaggio.
I trattamenti da provare sono molteplici, ma io ho voluto farmi trasportare in atmosfere lontane. Il gommage con il sapone nero lo conoscevo già, ma qui viene effettuato su una panca riscaldata e illuminata da luci, che apportano i benefici della cromoterapia. Il risciacquo, con acqua calda versata dolcemente da grandi brocche, rilassa i nervi e dona una sensazione di completo relax.
Per concludere il bellezza, un massaggio sul lettino fatto con sabbia al quarzo calda è quello che ci vuole. Sdraiandosi, proprio come in spiaggia, ci si crea uno spazio, che si adatti al nostro corpo. E questo è solo il primo passo di un lungo percorso di rilassamento e benessere psicofisico.
Un consiglio alle mamme italiane: un centro benessere non è un parco giochi. Qui i bimbi sono bene accetti, ma insegnate loro a comportarsi come è consono in una SPA.
Garda Termae: wellness among the mountains
In Italy there are areas that I have never taken into account for bias or wrong advice. The beauty of my job, however, is to have the opportunity to repent and find interesting places unexpectedly.
The part of Garda Lake in Trentino is one of those places that, in my head, was attended only by the elderly. Instead, I discovered that the area offers beautiful views, made of high mountains, narrow valleys, has a broad space, water sports and places rated to wellness, such as the Garda Termae.
The construction was created by the desire of a man to build something beautiful that would leave the sign and it was of benefit to people. It is situated on the shores of the lake, surrounded by beautiful mountains. It’s leverages the benefits of water and is divided between pools, private rooms, treatment rooms, baths and saunas.
The center, modern in architecture and for services, is made of stone, wood and steel, to ensure the hygiene of the large pool, half outside.
The outdoor salt water pool, is on the terrace adjacent to the bar and offers benefits for the skin and muscles, thanks to vigorous massage jets.
There are many treatments to try, but I wanted to carry me in far atmosphere. I already knew the scrub made with black soap, but here is done on a heated bench and illuminated by lights, which bring the benefits of color therapy. Rinsing with warm water gently poured from large jugs, relaxes the nerves and gives a feeling of complete relaxation.
To conclude, a massage on hot quartz sand is what I want. Lying down, just like on the beach, I create a space that adapts to my body. And this is just the first step in a long journey of relaxation and well being.
A tip to mothers: a wellness centre is not a playground. Here the children are welcome, but teach them how to behave in a SPA.
