Gioielli d’Artista: eleganza e bellezza in mostra a Firenze

Gioielli, eleganza e arte in due location stupende: ecco cos’è la mostra Gioielli d’Artista.
Sono stata qualche giorno fa all’inaugurazione ed è stato una serata decisamente molto “bella”, non solo per quanto ho potuto ammirare, ma anche e soprattutto per gli incontri e per i luoghi davvero splendidi in cui è ambientata la mostra.
La mostra continua al Museo Horne, poco conosciuto ma a mio avviso imperdibile. Questa potrebbe essere una buona occasione per visitarlo, no?
Ho ammirato  le creazioni di molti straordinari artisti che già conoscevo e di alcuni che non avevo ancora scoperto… Io ho scelto di raccontarvi quelli che quanto mi ha maggiormente colpito, quindi veniamo alle immagini, che forse parlano meglio delle parole.

Jewelry, art and elegance in two beautiful locations: this is how I would describe  the Exhibition Gioielli d’Artista.
Some days ago I attended the opening of this art exhibition and I had  an amazing time  surrounded by pure  beauty, and meeting some beautiful people.
The exhibition has a very interesting aspect: it is developed in two different locations, and the second  one is Museo Horne. It is a small but fascinating museum and a great location, so I guess this would make a good occasion to visit it!
In this exhibition I admired the creations of many extraordinary artists, some that I already knew and some that I had not yet discovered… I made a selection among those that I liked the most, and I think that their pictures will be more impressive than my words.

Sicuramente chi lavora nel campo della moda, le fashioniste e le ragazze di ogni età conoscono Aprosio: impossibile non aver sognato sulle creazioni che hanno davvero qualcosa di magico, e che uniscono il nostro essere “eterne bambine” con tanta bellezza ed eleganza…

Those who work in the fashion industry, the fashionistas and the girls of any age who live in Florence surely know Aprosio; it’s impossible not to have dreamt on these creations, that have something really magical in them, and make us go back to our childhood, with their beauty and elegance…

Se Aprosio ci fa tornare bambine, anche questi non scherzano. Sono gli anelli della linea di Claudio Ranfagni dedicata ai manga. Per gli amanti del Giappone e di questo mondo credo siano irresistibili! Penso proprio che ognuno di noi troverà quello che è stato il suo anime preferito.
Sono in argento e sono stati fatti con veri manga, per cui ogni oggetto è unico e irripetibile. Claudio mi ha detto che non li fa a richiesta: la scelta dei personaggi è soltanto sua, di volta in volta.
Sono sicura che molti di voi ricordano per Candy Candy e gli altri. Per esempio, io da piccola ero innamorata di Capitan Harlock.

If Aprosio makes us little girls, these jewels bring us back to the past! There are the rings from Claudio Ranfagni’s collection dedicated to the world of manga. For Japan lovers they are just irresistible! I really think that each of us will find his favorite anime among them.
These rings are in silver and the pictures were created using real manga paper, so each of them is unique and unrepeatable. Claudio told me that they cannot be created on request: the characters are chosen by the author only, on his artistic inspiration.
I am pretty sure that most of you are looking at Candy Candy; for your information, when  I was a child I was in love with Captain Harlock.

Anni fa avevo una collega che a volte diceva “scappo, devo aiutare mio padre” “Che fate di bello?” e lei rispondeva “Uh, nulla, abbiamo un laboratorio di ceramica. Ciao!”
lo diceva con tale noncuranza che io pensavo producessero i comuni cocci da giardino. Invece no.
Paolo Staccioli e le sue figlie, fra cui Barbara la mia collega e amica, creano ceramiche artistiche e sono quotatissimi; me ne resi  conto dopo qualche tempo, trovando le loro opere esposte in gallerie d’arte e in mostre decisamente importanti.

A long time ago I used to have a colleague in my office who sometimes said “Sorry I have to leave earlier today, I have to help my father,” “What are you working on? ” And she replied, ” Uh, nothing, we only have a pottery workshop… bye! ”
She used to say this it with such carelessness that I thought about the average garden pieces of pottery. But no, it wasn’t what I was thinking of.
Paolo Staccioli and his daughters , one of them is Barbara, my friend  and former colleague, create  artistic ceramics and are very much esteemed ; this is what I realized after some time, finding their works exhibited in art galleries and very important exhibitions.

Gioielli d’Artista è dedicata al gioiello e alla scultura, ma sono presenti anche elementi che esulano da questo tema, perché presso nella Sala delle Colonne nella sede della Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze potete ammirare una mostra dedicata a Filistrucchi, negozio storico fiorentino e al suo rapporto con il regista Franco  Zeffirelli: i costumi, le  parrucche teatrali e i documenti che testimoniamo un sodalizio straordinario. Mostra da non perdere se siete melomani o avete nostalgia dei tempi della Callas…

Gioielli d’Artista is dedicated to jewelry and sculpture, but I would like you to know that at in the Hall of Columns in the headquarters of the Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze you can visit an exhibition dedicated to Filistrucchi, a family who run a historical shop in Florence and has been having a special relationship with director Franco Zeffirelli: costumes , wigs and documents that bear witness to this remarkable partnership . This exhibition is not to be missed if you are opera lovers or if you dream of the times of Maria Callas…

Non ero sola: sono andata con Fiamma Tortoli, amica fiorentina che crea dei gioielli e bijoux bellissimi! Io non ho potuto non fotografare quelli che indossava lei quel giorno…
