Golden Globe Awards 2015: domani il Gala di Premiazione

In vista dell’imminente e attesissima notte cinematografica dei Golden Globe Awards 2015 che domani, 11 gennaio, assegnerà i premi dell’Hollywood Foreign Press Association ai migliori film ed attori e alle più riuscite serie televisive dell’anno, un ripasso delle nomination mi sembra utile per fare il punto della situazione.

I Golden Globe sono suddivisi in 25 categorie che premiano – più o meno come avviene per gli Oscar – il miglior attore e la migliore attrice di un film e di una serie tv, distinguendo tra le altre cose fra film e series drammatici (drama) o tendenti alla commedia (comedy o musical).

Per questa 72esima edizione e per la sezione cinematografica, Birdman di Inarritu è il film che con ben 7 candidature ha ottenuto il più alto numero di nomination, seguito a ruota da Boyhood e The Imitation Game con 5, L’amore bugiardo e The Grand Budapest Hotel con 4, Selma e Foxcatcher con 3.
Da segnalare, la doppia candidatura ottenuta dall’attrice Julianne Moore: una per Still Alice, l’altra per Maps to the Stars.

Birdman vs Boyhood. Sembra questa la sfida più avvincente che animerà i Golden Globe 2015. Se il film di Inarritu ha buonissime possibilità di aggiudicarsi il globo d’oro come miglior film comedy-musical quello Richard Linklater è invece il favorito nella categoria drama. Un risultato che avrà delle ripercussioni anche nella categoria del migliore attore protagonista.

Per quanto riguarda le serie tv, per i premi più importanti circolano nuovamente i titoli delle più note degli ultimi anni: fra le altre, House of Cards, Game of Thrones, True Detective, Homeland e The Good Wife.

Non ci resta che attendere domani per scoprire i vincitori di questa edizione!

Il gala di premiazione, che si terrà come di consueto al Beverly Hilton Hotel di Beverly Hills e andrà in onda negli Stati Uniti in diretta su NBC, sarà condotto anche quest’anno dalle attrici Tina Fey e Amy Poehler, riconfermate a gran successo per il terzo anno consecutivo.
